I was there! Got my nose broken in the moshpit just before Aerosmith came on (they were on before WS) and got pulled out the crowd just as Steven Tyler took to the stage, I got taken to the medical tent, got cleaned up and got back in time to see the mighty Sir David Coverdale and Whitesnake. Great day, will never forget it.
@planetbarton1973 I was there too and remember seeing nerdy looking guy getting taken away from moshpit, you were acting like a C.B.E. = Complete Bell-End! You were lucky to only get your nose broken, you're lucky you didn't get one right in the Todger just not enough room to do that. Always Bell-Ends like you at metal shows sadly.
Coverplant comment by Tarkus?...please dude......Ive seen DC about 6 times, unreal...this one here he is beat....I saw RPlant, about 7 times.......really not that good bro.........Plant is rough....I saw DC in Reading, PA in 2006. He blew this crappy performance away( as i agree this is rough).......20 years ago is way dif than now....DC is badass!!
@jgrahamwireless "Slip of the Tongue" is very high pitched, no wonder he should sound a bit rough from time to time. "Fool" is one whole tone above the original version, I believe.
I believe they went a bit lower after that, but I'm not a Whitesnake/DC scholar, don't quote me on that.
I think no one in the band are doing the chorus "on stage". I think it is Tommy Funderbunk or another guy who's singing backstage. Rudy Sarzo do some mimics, but it is well known that he doesn't sing.
Oh Yeah the Hairspray fits!

@jgrahamwireless And all in all, from the recent performances I've seen, DC has retained amazing tone, range, control and power.

Coverdale's singing voice is so much better than his speaking voice. Don't talk boy, just sing

I actually love the raspy voice he's showing in this concert. I don't know if it's a technique or a disease, but I love it anyways.
