comparing these songs to johnny cash and saying hes is better, its because american places are easy to pronounce you try and pronounce from either from australia or new zealand GOOD LUCK.
both Lucky Starr and John Grenell to sing that fast and pronounce the places is bloody awesome, I take my hat off to them.

iI remember when you went on Have a Shot on Television. Loved you then and still love you now Unfortunately lost all you records in fire but Loved Cool water and Old Shep back in the early days
I love this video... and the song! It's clever how you have put a photo of every place as he sings it... and what a memory for all the place names!!! 5 stars!
Maybe but when it was played on the radio in the early 60's the only Johnny Cash song we heard was ring of fire. What gave it meaning to some was that John was a local boy and some of us were living in the towns he names, :)

It does not matter. Just hum and keep the rhythm ;-).
(Do you suggest that New Zealand's names of towns are too difficult to pronounce? ;-))
otakra 3 years ago
They are if there are so much in succession so fast... xD
This is one of the funnier versions though =P
