  • BAGUAN Turtle Island is the Turtle Sanctuary protected by the Task Force Pawikan... this Island is Part of Tawi-Tawi and can be seen from Taganak Island..so far as I know this Island before belong to Julian Lao...but seems it is under the hands of the Government due Turtle Preservation......I have been there once when I went Trawling ... really cystal clear water I enjoy swimming for that day and observe under water creature.the oysters, fishes, corals etc.....

  • i think the whole municipality of turtle islands in the province of tawi-tawi is one of the protected areas in the Philippines. you can view them from malaysia.

  • @virjel yeah .. you can .. turtle islands is very near in malaysia ..

  • ganda ng island--at parang sariwa pah--ehehe

  • From the conservation of these turtles point of view, the reason there are still many turtles nesting on that island is because it is far away from the main islands and no many ppl know about it. let's keep it that way - when ppl start to go to this island, the turlte eggs will be poached, turtles get killed and what not.. leave them in peace..

  • nice vid, nice sceneries!so,where about in PI is turtle islands?

  • Its in the middle of Sulu Sea. Very far from any major island of the Philippines.

  • Baguan island is part of Tawi-Tawi but too far from mainland Mindanao. It's nearer to Sabah, only a 40-minute speedboat ride.

  • @krabi0569

well Sabbah is realy part of SULU PHILIPPINES, Malaysia goverment renting it to the sultan of SULU. you can do some reasearch in google and you will know the truth. So in short Sabbah is part of the PHILIPPINES and not malaysia.

  • @marsdrifter

if you want to visit the turtle island in the Philippines you have to get a permit from the Goverment because it's protected area. and as far as i know no tourist are allowed to go their unless for some studies.
