  • nice tiles

  • I'm trying to learn this method, but sometimes i have to use the flipping alg, and that breaks the cross up. how can i prevent this? is there a flipping alg that doesn't break the cross up?

  • @ichigo2008bleach

Well let's say you wanted to flip the FR edge but you want to preserve the cross. R U R' U' y L' U L should work. This is just an example, it's not the only alg which flips this edge but preserves cross.

  • you use this method or an other paring method???

  • @zzdanielzz29 I don't use this yet, but I'm thinking about switching. Sebastian Weyer and Dan Cohen are so fast! O_O

  • @Robert271291 yes they are realy fast! sebastian weyer got 32 y competition using it! O_O i will use it too.

but you know how to make a 4x4 faster? i need to make it better... thanks :)

  • @zzdanielzz29 Well Sebastian told me that he lubricates the inside of the core and the outside as well.

  • @Robert271291 ok i'll do it thanks :D

  • intuitive???

  • That's god damn brilliant!

  • Why no talking?

  • Very interesting, I might try that. When pairing 3/6 at a time, I hate to have to look on top and down faces to find unpaired edges...this might be the solution! :D

  • Nice cube. Is that a mefferts?

  • It's a normal sized QJ, which I think is the same as Meffert's (i.e. you buy QJs from the Mefferts' website)

  • @Robert271291 : wt aBt ordering from popBuying is it the same QJ thr too ....

  • i still hang on to my normal method.

    which is the syuhei method.

doing all the centres first and pair all the edges later.

    its less confusing too.

  • its Robert Yau method and Dan Cohen did the single WR with this method but he said he got really lucky

  • Very nice method :) I did something similar to this (not K4) but I didn't solve the cross edges. And @lordskull13, it is not difficult, because you just have to use (if you put the cross edges on the left) only R and inner slice moves, and you can still do the U move (you only solved 3. This method is pretty easy to follow, and I am sitching to this method, thank you :)

  • nice tutorial... c=

  • Syuhei doesn't do Dw, he uses Uw

  • i used to do this, but i dont like it anymore. theres too much room for error when doing it, but if you get fast i can see 35 second reductions followed by an easy 10 - 12 second 3x3 solve (without parities)

  • I'm not entirely sure whether this can be faster... making the first pairs is obviously faster with less to mess up. However isn't it difficult to pair the rest of the edges and create centers while restricting those moves? I'm sure someone very skilled can get fast with this. However I don't think that it'll be easy.
