  • I Really Wish THey Gave Mushu A Song, In THe Movie, He Deserve It, He`s Hillariouse and Caring Like All THe Other Great Disney Sidekicks, Like Genie and Timon N Pumba

  • Yeah, ginseng isn't that smooth... But this song sure is. XD

  • "Like yin an yang? Ping and pong? Beef and brocoli?"

  • sounds like stewie(failed to spell the name) from family guy.... (the singing part) XD

  • Shan-Yu disliked.

  • wow. never even noticed that mushu didn't sing in the movie.

  • wouldve looked cool :)

  • Catchy.

  • You know my best friend's little sister Rebecca was in Mulan Jr., so we went to go see it when they did it and they kept this song in it! lol

  • I mean it's a great song, truly a great song. But as the director said, Eddie Murphy already made Mu-Shu great enough with his acting. For Mulan they wanted to songs to surround the whole "culture" or at least the full story. Even though it would have been a great add on. "Keep em Guessing" was too...jazzy. I love this song, and I would have loved it if they at least put the art to the song, but at least they put it up for us to know about. :)

  • What If Atomu Shimojo Sang This If He Were Charlie Brown? This Song Makes Jonathan Freeman Would Laugh!

  • Yeeah, as others have said, great song on its own but when Mulan was supposed to be around Jazz wasn't, the other songs seemed to not 'be around' either BUT they had a oriental sort of sound to them even though they were more up beat etc so they fit into the movie perfectly but this just doesn't in any shape or form, it was good that they cut it.

  • yeah this song doesnt go with the other songs in the movie.. lol

    it seems out of place

  • I really like the song, especially with the use of the word "gender bender", but it would have been REALLY out of place in the movie.

  • THEY SHOULD OF PUT THAT PART!

  • This is a really great song!

  • How did- Why did this song get cut?

  • It's too bad they removed this. Yeah, the jazz sounds really awkward and weird in a Ancient China setting, but c'mon he's a sidekick! Everyone loves a good sidekick song like Under the Sea, When We're Human, and Hakuna Matata :D

  • Too bad various anime can't do jazz either. Especially with Rica M, the original Satoshi voice actor.

  • estaria bueno que isieran un especial de mulan y agan lo mismo q en el rey leon , aser una opcion de reacer esa parte

  • You're heading for disaster But I'm your one best chance Though miss, you are miscast I'll show you how to show who wears the pants I'm smoother than ginseng I'll teach you attitude An act that's so convincing They'll think you're a dude You're an odd one mademoiselle And your story doesn't tell But if they don't ask, don't tell Keep 'em guessin' Let me lead you to the fun of Camouflaging what you're one of 'Cause their business it is none of Keep 'em guessin'
  • You think that you don't need me But doll, you're in a jam I'll train you to mislead To walk the walk, we'll both pull off this scam I'm ready to coach you Let's start with your physique Before I'm through, they'll vote you He-man of the week Take it from the one who's wise Pull the silk over their eyes With some little ol' white lies Keep 'em guessin' Honey, listen to old Mushu Like a cricket, they would squoosh you Shut your mouth, fermé le bouche You keep 'em guessin'
  • Well, if the girl you are does not show You won't set off the alarms If I can make you mucho-macho Whose to know that you're a babe in arms Though I'm not the type to brag This charade is in the bag And reality's a drag Keep 'em guessin' Sweet cakes, never say surrender I can make you a contender Get your groove, this gender 'fender Keep 'em guessin' When the truth is too depressin' When it's with your mind they're messin' Read my lips and heed my lesson Keep 'em guessin'
  • Eddi Murphy can SING?! Oh, god, he's good...

  • Comment removed

  • @BillyTheMadHatter He does a pretty good job in Dreamgirls. /watch?v=0P1DOvUsCf8

Whoever is singing here I'm pretty sure is not Eddie Murphey, though. :)

  • @BillyTheMadHatter Yes Eddi Murphy can sing look on Shrek or Shrek 2 there are videos that has Eddi singing,

  • They would have had to leave that song in the movie!

  • I wanna play this for my GSA XD

  • Yeah, good thing they didn't put that in.

Murphy is kind of better without songs, his speaking voice is epic, but song is kind of bland

  • I LOVE THIS but mushu sounds so different

  • @sllienaa123 my point exactly.

  • disney need's to make a movie with Mushu as the lead.

    WHOS WITH ME XD

  • "Don't ask, don't tell:" I c whut u did thar. Could this entire song/movie be a metaphor for the treatment of gay soldiers in the U.S. military? ;)

  • I sort of like the song ;D but I think they cut it for a good reason

  • I wonder if the villain had a song that was cut out? Nah, he's to dark to have a song.

  • i gotta admit, though, eddie murphy as a dragon is the strangest thing disney's done with a celebrity.

  • Best song (not included) in Mulan. It's so catchy and awesome too bad.

  • oh my god, where did Mushu get singing lessons

  • @GoldenLanternStudios Now don't go dogging Eddie.

  • in the mulan junior musical this song is in it. when we did it it was a great intro to mushu :D

  • Haha, I listen to this song a lot :).

  • who does the singing because I don't think It's Eddie Murphy can someone please answer my question please.

  • @ThePokeman007 I don't have any secure facts but it's most likely either Mathew Wilder or David Zippel since they did the music and lyrics for most of the movie. The makers of a song will usually do the demo.

  • isnt Mushu a Chinese dish? srry i had the dvd and in the special theaters Mushu said that he's a type of food lol

  • no mushu is the dragon that guides mulan to pretend shes a guy :}

  • Yeah, it may not go with China's enviroment but Eddie Murphy doesn't either. I think this would have been a fine addition to the film, and I bet Eddie would have done the singing himself.

  • @moviecritic121 yeah, and besides friend like me didn't fit arabian music.

  • This is in the children's show version

  • Mushu!!

  • lol, "don't ask don't tell" :)

  • "Lucky for you it's not who are that matters, it's who others think you are that matters. You understand?" Yes! It's like and Anime Con. Oh I would love to see this song with Oran High School Host Club it fits so perfectly!!

  • @BowsArrow Omg love that anime and this movie what a cawinkkidinky? lol

  • @BowsArrow Kyouya would do it very well

  • im duinn a stage version of thiss at theatre and im mushu the one for the disney stage versiuon is diffrent than this

  • its awsome

  • Love this song on its own, but if it was in the movie, I think it wouldn't work. Ancient China and jazz don't seem to fit. The song is great, but it would have totally been out of place in the grander scheme of the movie as a whole. :)

    Thanks for posting. *Favorites*

  • agreed, the song is cool but doesnt really fit.

  • Nor did pop diva music and greek mythology when

they hercules. At least in my opinion (I like the songs and all)

  • It's not like the other songs in Mulan fit either, with the exception of one. They really should have kept it.

  • @TheaterRaven i agree

  • @TheaterRaven yea i can see your point entirely i think if they left it in the song won't do too much for the story but you may wonder if mushu could glimpse in to the far future

  • @TheaterRaven It could have been weirder... at one point it was going to be a James Brown send-up, which IMO would've been much more Eddie's style.

  • @TheaterRaven Well, even if I agree on the whole point I would argue, that Mushu is from the Annoying Fast Talking D*ck Club which was so popular at the time, so he may suddenly give out modern day reference and he can sign jazz. But still, if he does - he better do it right, and this video shows that they didn't do it right, so... well, you get where my rambling is going XD

  • @TheaterRaven I think it still would had worked I mean think of Aladdin. The Genie’s song was sung in a swing kind of way and Ariel was in Denmark but they had Caribbean music.

  • @TheaterRaven Man, I don't like Mushu's voice there. I tried imagining Eddie Murphy sing this, dude!

  • This song is amazing! It's a real shame they cut this; it would have been one of the best ones in the movie.

  • We are about to do this musical at our theatre. This song is in it and it is soooooo much fun to do!!!!!!!

  • thank ya for oploading
