I always felt like this song belonged in In Rainbows instead of Ok Computer. I still love it though because of how different it sounds from any other song on that album.
Having been to Glastonbury several times I'm ALWAYS blown away that they manage to put on a show of this size there... Seeing this vid makes it even more unreal...
@cruelarsonist Ummm that line up makes no sense, seeing as the only decent band listed is Radiohead. Let Rock music live, but if you listen to Thom Yorke's playlists on Dead Air Space you'll realize that he is a big fan of hip hop and electric beats. Pop/Hip Hop sucks, but I mean there is such thing as tasteful hip hop and pop etc.
Thom said in an interview they had gone to a mental asylum, and there was a wing dedicated to these people who were petrified of windows and the dark due to a certain face that was burned in their minds so to speak. They couldnt even stand to look out the window or sleep in the dark because they were scared of seeing this man. This song was about the person in their minds they were so afraid of. When he explained that, I got chills.
think we can all relate to that sort of thing during some point in our lives... now that i know the background, i must say this song is an awesome rendition to depict that.

@cruelarsonist My Chemical Romance? Evanescence? Paramore? Linkin Park? Green Day? Puddle of Mudd? I mean, each to their own, but really?

What does this song talk about? I am unable to infer. The music and stage lightings are awesome. Jonny's effects rock!
