Notice how the CB/DB stands right next to the reciver the whole time, reciver dosnt move to create space at all, but the defender dosn't react untill the ball is in the air. And knowing if you've seen the gameplay videos that pick out defenders jumping 20ft across the middle of the field, then its easy to know why the defender sits there. No play in Madden will ever be great, the greatest, or the most amazing etc.. because the game has so many faults that make it unrealistic and easy.

I did something similar to this just better. I was in All-Madden difficulty as the Raiders against the Chargers with 10 seconds left, down 4. I had the ball at the 5 and felt confident running the ball. At about the 2 yd line, I got completely stuffed, but wasn't down yet - so I lateralled it back to Russell and ran it in.
