  • Cant believe they didnt want to pay rights to this song, when the chorus is exactly the same as blind willie johnsons...

  • Hurdy Gurdy. Great instrument! Natural distorsion.

  • One of my favorite versions, a la Plant & Page ;)

  • not as good as the original,

    but it still epic!!

    Jimmy Page, the best guitarrist

  • Il est exquis, non?

  • Really excellent.

  • FABULOUS! the voice, the instruments, the sound, the dog :)

  • better than the original indeed, also what up with the dog at 3:25? Lucky bastard! LOL

  • @radiohm3 it represents the dog they saw when recording Led Zeppelin IV, which they named black dog after haha

  • @MrDingle13 I didn't know that thanks for the info!

  • Jimmy Page is the Master of his craft! According to him tho he was never alone........

  • Wow!!!! Like this version as much as the original!!!! Maybe better, slower and bluesier with a little celtic or bluegress twang! God I wish they would play together again! They are magical!

  • @soulkat79 They certainly were...I'm just glad I have the music and no one can take it away

  • @soulkat79 Of course it's bluesier, it's the "Blind Willie Johnson" way. Fantastic delta blues singer, who reconciled in a beautiful way blues with its religious black music similarities^^ Fantastic cover indeed, as you said.

  • so much harmony here =)

  • @petrosonrocking Jimmy plays harmony with himself...whatta talent

  • Brilliant.....great mix of instruments.

  • @gordiebell Jimmy the Orchestrator
