  • how many do you need to just do the under layer of your hair? and can you dye them?

  • how long does it take for them to put all of them in?

  • I took SO SO long to find nice micro-rings aswell. For those of u who asked where else to get good extensions, i'd recommend this online store- vainhairextensions . com. Mine from there were pretty cheap and have lasted me 6 MONTHS so far! they supply to salons so I knew they were good quality! :) SUPER THICK and healthy! xoxox Jessie

  • i have very thick hair and its just under my ears, im buying some on ebay ive been told 200 strands will do, do u think that will be right, im having a go at doing it myself, i dont wanna be left with half my head not done, it cant be that hard to do urself, im sure its frustrating but its possible.

  • Hello, I wanted to know if you knew anywhere to order the tools needed to perform this extension application online . I am a new stylist in NY ---thanks :)

  • Would it ever fall out if i washed it or put it up in a pony tale?

  • would you be able to perm your hair with micro-cylinders?

  • @harrks Yes of course, it's 100% human euro-remy hair, grade A. Be careful of what's out there, factories are so cut-throat these days that they're mixing animal hair with human hair and calling it 100% human hair, which is not right.

  • My hairstylist told me this would be the cheapest form of perminant hair extensions, but i should buy the hair myself because it would be cheaper, should i buy those single hair strand packs?

  • yes, visit our website and go to our shopping cart section

  • Are there any salons near Chicago, IL that offer this technique of extensions?

  • It's a fairly popular method so I'm sure you can find a salon that does something similar , but unfortunately we don't have an official NHS branch in Chicago.

  • if u run ur fingers through ur hair, would u be able to feel the little tubes?

  • Yes if someone runs their fingers through the back of your head and nape close to the scalp, they'll most definitely feel them. But like I described in the comment below, if you want to avoid such a situation please look into our micro-thread hair extensions method. Click on our name and view our other videos for more info!

  • since these are copper can you walk through those airport security machines without having it beep? Also, is it safe? No health effects of having them on your head for months?

  • They also come in aluminum, but to answer your question we have not heard of any complaints about the airport beep, but it is possible. Safety wise there has been no media records of causing you any harm. Also for a gentler method, I recommend you watch our video on the micro-thread method. It's less intrusive and perfect for clients with low density and thinning hair.

  • how can i get this?

  • How many grams in each strand?

  • Does anyone know if you can go swimming with them or something...because I wouldn't want them falling out... xD I was thinking about getting either these or the bonded kind, but I'm not sure.

    xx

  • i have had this process done MANY times and they are like your own hair. you can totally swim and do whatever with them in. they are the best. i wouldn't recommend the bonded type, i personally didnt like it because removal sucks and is damaging to the hair. these aren't.

  • Ohhh...thanks! That explains a lot hahaha. How do you go about brushing them, though? Is there a chance that you could brush them out by accident?

    xx

  • You need to be gentler with your hair but you'd have to be really rough to pull one out!

I recommend buying a brush called "tangle teezer" - you can get it on ebay - it's amazing for extensions.

  • i had mine put in from October to December, so i never had a chance to go swimming with them

but when my hair was wet, they were very visible. also they do fall out quite easily and you have to keep putting them back in

    hope it helped :) x

  • It's unfortunate you went through that experience Elle, but at NHS we use premium brand where the hairs don't fall out as easily.

  • thats nice but how long does it takes

  • awesome. I'd like to do this with my hair. id do it myself though. because of the time it would take, it would be too costly to hire someone.have to get a friend to do the back though maybe.

if you get u tipped, can you split thoes in half? if so then id be getting double the extensions- was thinking bout ordering 40 u tip for only 22 bucks. real hair and everything. so if i can pull then into two, that would be double awesome. lol.

  • the video is too short

  • where can i get authentic remy pre bonded tip at an affordable price

  • Ebay. No joke.

  • when you do maintence, can we use the same ring and just move them up or do we have to get new rings?also is there any dvd so i can buy and watch?thanks

  • it depends on what kind of I-tip extensions you use. Some tips are not reuseable as they break after first usage with the micro-rings. The I-tip extensions we use however are reuseable, so it can be "re-up"ed and used multiple times.

  • Can some one tell me were to get the smallest beads im after a dark brown to black,I have the beads in and oathough I love the extentiion( Asian hair) im not happy you can see the beads in my very thin hair,, and if you have dart roots your better of with the darker beads ,, but Im still wanting the darker beads,, anyone???

  • I also have dark brown, going on black, hair, and personnally, I put black PERMANENT felt-tip pen on the beads, and it stays like for 2 weeks :) ..

  • like how long would this take??? 9 hours??

  • More like 4 hours for a full set of hair, about 200 extensions.

  • how in the heck do you comb your hair without pulling on t hose extensions?

  • There are special brushes you use called extension brushes that makes it possible.

  • as long as you want it :)

  • how long has your hair gotta be to use this type of hair extensions?

  • Advanced Hair Studios uses those kinda beads. My sister has some and loves them. No dreads or knots and whenyour hair starts growing, she just has them moved up closer to the scalp again.

  • how long do they stay?

  • it depends on the type of the hair. But it'll be about a few months. If you buy good quality hair and treat them gently they could survive even 18 months, but the average is 2-5 months. (sorry about my english,im from poland)

  • Yes you're right, although with our quality hair it lasts a bit longer than what you described. If the customer is good with maintenance and the upkeep of the hair, 18 months is do-able.

  • if she were to run her hand through her hair would she feel those tubes?

  • where can you get the pincher thingies

  • pliers you mean. if its pliers you asking can always get from a hardware or even any tools box that my suggestion. good luck

  • oh wow i fail. they're just pliers??? oh geez... thanx. i feel dumber than usual...

  • They're not normal pliers like you can buy in a hardware store. If you use normal ones it's difficult to remove the ring and you'll probably end up just scratching the paint off it, making it visible in your hair!

  • how much would it cost for these extensions?

  • how many of these would you need to do a full head apporximently?

  • About 150 to 200 strands for a full head, which will give the client length AND volume.

  • does it hurt?! I mean all those ring...

  • Our clients love it, and it doesn't hurt at all. Unless you yank of them of course. =)

  • For a qualified hair extensionist micro rings are very easy to apply.

    CONNECT-2-HAIR

  • Why pay retail prices when you can just look on eBay. I'm sure you can find the same thing for less than half the price.

  • But the quality of the hair on ebay is unverifiable. You want premium European hair actually gathered in Eastern Europe and/or Russia. Quality makes a huge difference. That's what the top stars of Hollywood pay for...and that's the quality of hair we have through our connections overseas. =)

  • Well based on the research I've read and the feedback of eBay sellers, Asian or Indian hair is actually softer and silkier than Eastern European which tends be be dry and actually breaks apart. I actually have tried both and by far the softest hair is Asian hair. Sometimes I wish I was Asian =P. Maybe its just me but thats what I've come across in my experience.

  • Eastern European hair is finer and silkier than Chinese or Indian hair. You can't successfully mix the types. You should try to get a genetic match...the hair shafts are shaped differently. Russian hair is the most rare and expensive.

  • ugh i wish i could get this

right now i have a full head of clips ins and i hate it.

but getting this in a salon is like 1000s dollars :-/

  • I've seen these being sold as diy extensions but how easy would it be to put them in the back of your head yourself?

  • it would be very difficult, if not impossible. You need an extension stylist for this method.

More videos are out on newhairsystem dot com/extra.html

  • is this something that i can have my mom do??

  • is this the one that you can't hot comb your hair at all after the application of the cylinder? And a full head costs $1,000?

  • biancabeatdown87 it depends on where you go and what you want. Usually people want length and the STARTING price is usually around $1,000

  • how much do they charge for that??

  • where can i buy this hair from and what do they call it

  • You can purchase it at newhairsystem dot com
