Thank you! I hope I can go in July and August. By now, I read books, do some walk tranining and watch videos as yours to keep my mind focussed on the aim :)
This is realy the camino! Love it and miss it every day...I'm coming back - promise.
I walked from St.J P d Port 23th march to Santiago 23th april 2008. Lots of rain but still fantastic. So hard and suffering, but at the same time so quiet and easy.
Thank you so much for the weather report! I am so excited and cannot wait to experience first hand the beautiful photos you shared with us. Best regards, mkl
Thank you MKL. I envy you with all of the adventure still ahead of you. I started on April 5th in Sauveterre De Bearn in the French Basque country. That's about three days walk before Saint Jean Pied de Port. The mornings in April were cool. In some of the towns in Spain there was frost on car windshields in the mornings. T-Shirt and fleece jacket were plenty warm enough but I wish I had brought a wool hat. I had a few rainy days but on the whole the weather was fantastic. Dale
Message # 2 I ran out of space in my first message. If you can I would suggest starting a couple of weeks earlier. A Friend of mine who started in the third week of April this year got caught in a rush of Pilgrims and had trouble finding a place to sleep. She had to take a bus and skip the first of the Camino and started again at Leon where she was ahead of the crowd. Starting when I did I never had a problem with accommodations. Buen Camino
Unbelievable!! Just beautiful, every picture is beautiful! Well done Dale I can really see why you loved this journey. I hope I get to see the full length version.
I selected to watch it in high quality, it really makes a difference.
