@bobblink454 hahaha figured it was a black beauty lol heard that the gold pating wears off after a while so that's probably why I thought it was weird lol sounds just as good as KB's gibson

the gold plating does wear down as all finishes do...the white on my 89'strat is now a creamy white...which looks crazy vintage, though it's only a couple of years old

lp's are nice and can get real dirty,. i love'em and hate'em...lol

@bobblink454 true hahaha lp'z are great but like a wife you have to deal with it!! lolz that's the best thing about them. I have an epi lp studio alpine white and now the color is fading to a potentially ugly gray color.
