I for one know that 30 lbs is alot actually, my brother benches 300 lbs and he warms up with 30 lbs... I have yet to see a woman in my gym curl 30 lbs..... Sounds like someone is jealous, ALSO her form is not bad AT ALL...

  • 30 lbs is ideal for building muscle and not strength training. Also, her form looks fine. Where is she going wrong?

    I work in a gym so I'm not sure how you're able to tell people her form sucks. Why don't you post a video of proper form, if it is any different then hers.

  • @fitnessmodelsmagazin than u need to work on it more ur going to injure ur back u are swing on of the biggest most commmon db curl mistakes helps u lift may 10lbs more than u can but ur not using ur arms ur using ur back and that is cheating and will cause major injurys

  • I usually only do about 8 reps. Building muscle, you usually do heavy weight, less reps. I have never stood there to see "how many" I could do.

  • @fitnessmodelsmagazin to master the weight. I'm poor so I don't go to a gym. I buy dumbells from wally-world. I like to do 25 reps before i move on. The only difference I do as a guy, is a twist added. I do 10+ reps with a twist on the 35lb'er now....I went from 12 lb'er to 35lb'er as a guy pretty rapidly...and lost about 35lbs too, lol.

    I'm not going to argue with you on youtube, but i can tell you that basically every bodybuilder will tell you that in order to get big you have to lift heavy. Of course there are exceptions depending on your level and the particular excercise you do, but many reps with low weight will only get you endurance and very little mass. And I do full HEAVY squats fyi. If i can make a bet in return you probably cant even benchpress 220. Or more likely you don't work out at all.

    With body builders, it's all about making weights feel heavy with high rep ranges.Have you even watched any olympic weight lifting? Haven't you ever noticed how the majority of them are relatively small? They're using low rep ranges, which isn't hypertrophy centric. I also do strength training, and what makes you think I "can't even bench 220"? Because I don't agree with you?
