This song seems a lil' bi-polar. I grew up seeing the melvins, accused, etc in the mid-80's. You asked.......Slower and sludgier was always more appealing to myself than what the metal heads during those years were cranking out....Then came grunge that welded metal and thrash together. This song is lacking in the grit department. Even w/ the guy growling the lyrics---something is missing. Go deep and dark. Leave the light emo-pop lyrics on the shelf.
