@scrapeape I kinda look at this album as the follow up to last splash, its such a great album and the breeders drummer is in the band, breeders never really had to much a stable line up except now kelly and kim but kelly was busie getting clean to makeing her own amazing music in the 6000s. So for me i kinda listen to this as the follow up to last splash and it makes so muc sence.

The Asylum is currently going through a restoration and to be a school. Not seen Kim in a while. I'm sure she still lives in Oakwood though. I miss mid 90's D8N Ohio, the only time that town had any pride.

The video was shot inside the Asylum (not sure if its still there even). I'm remember Kim's Mom was there on the side. It was a fun shoot with a lot of beer that had to keep being removed from the stage... Wish I could see a higher res version since I was somewhere in the crowd watching that night. The band played a few times at Antioch College. Oh not sure but The Amps were first called Tammy and the Amps... but thats another story...

Tipp City is in Dayton, Ohio. Small town. Lot's of cars like in the video. Lot's of old people. They have an annual fair and everyone knows everyone. My old friend Brad is from there.

Between the Deals, Braniac, and Guided by Voices Dayton Ohio really had alot more to do with 90's indie then it's ever given credit for...
