This guy rocks harder than anybody else with sticks in their hands. Whether he's playing Yamaha or DW, he's an amazing musician. It's sad to see so many people getting so hung up on gear that they fight about it. It's not about what you play on, it's about what you play and how you play it. To all of the percussionists out there, keep groovin'.

Dave Carpenter's death was a great loss to music. RIP Dave. All of you out there should always carry 4 chewable baby aspirin(80mg.) with you. At the first sign of shortness of breath, chest pain etc. chew those pills immediaately and call 911. Do not hesitate, get to a emergency room immediately. It could save your life. Dave died of a coronary unexpectedly which is the most dangerous because you are not sure of what's happening. So remember CHEW 4 baby aspirin and get help if you can!!!!

I find it hysterical, how, when you look at a Peter Erskine video, hoping to see some of his tasty playing, you read the comments underneath, and they descend into bizarre rants and vicious personal accusations and generally argumentative comments. This is usually on the jazz clips aswell!??? What's up with that? I don't usually comment on youtube, but this is just weird behaviour. Are these people in the audience at jazz gigs?

@patriot6061 i think its jealousy thing, people seem to have this "im better" or "he's better" attitude. Maybe a little jealous that their own vids dont get so many hits or whatever. It all speaks for itself, if a video has more hits its because more people like it and everbody needs to accept that. If your opinion is that someone else is better then go and watch that video. It really gets to me too
