"To Simply Be" A poem by Lily

OMG~ this is the poem that is responsible for my husband & i getting together! I read this poem in Sage Woman, & I was so moved by it that I posted it in the miscellaneous section on myspace (properly credited) simply saying that this poem had brought me joy & the Goddess impressed upon me to post it for someone else. Little did I know, that someone was my future husband! Please pass along my many thanks and blessings for bringing two hearts together :)

I like in Arizona. Where in Arizona is this haunted Canyon? I to feel a lot of land in AZ is misunderstood. I also love Loreena McKennit.  I noticed this was posted Dec. 14th. That is my birthday. Funny.

I will get Lily to come and answer this later, I am not sure I could tell you exactly like she could :) I am glad you enjoyed it.. Lily is always finding this great hiking trails, so I get to travel through the desert through her photo's :)

Haunted Canyon is quite remote...it is 12 miles past Superior, past an open pit limestone mine on the east side of Route 60. Part of Superstition Wilderness in Tonto National Forest. By Globe, SE of Phoenix ...not a frequently traveled trail. Woods, mountains, once home to Apaches. AZ is very misunderstood, yes, I've devoted much poetry & photos to sharing its diverse beauty. Lisa has helped me do that here as well.

I absolutely love it! The way the monochrome stills sequence is coreographed to the music, the layout, the content; and that poem by Lily is excellent and brought to life by the visual media: An outstanding joint effort demonstrating strong talent and outstanding artistic dexterity from both authors.

(BTW did you notice the water elemental stnding in the stream just before the middle? I wouldn't have seen it but I turned my head away for an instant and saw it out of the corner of my eye.)
