I just found this video not too long ago and, I'm getting ready to take my GED. I'm 17 years old and came too America from Germany. I have no support from my family very few friends. So this GED test is making me very upset. Anyway can you explain how hard the math testing part of the GED is? Also the essay part. I'm very bad in spelling. Only little words such I'm spelling now is what i can do. Thank you fore the video reply back ASAP. - Snyder

too bad a high school diploma better . I'm sorry to say but I ged is not the same as a high school diploma . I seriously would never waste my time getting a ged. but I guess a g e d is better than nothing lol

@Chazbretroberts Because I got the GED to take care of most of the credits I needed to obtain my diploma. Then I had barely any credits left to be obtain my diploma so I finished those and graduated 3 months early. That's why.

my ged is experience, is, im an alcoholic, and drug user, and a drug addict, and took the ged test after only studying for 6 hours, and passed with a 510 on my first try. so if any of you dont pass.. just think of me. and im 20 years old, not 37 liek stated on my channel. if you cant pass a ged test in north america. you fail miserably at life in general.

HEY i stay in charlotte nc and i go to cpcc...today after coming back from my reg ged program i found out that inorder to get into college i have to also take a placement test and its really upseting me due to me feeling as doe this is go take 4ever. please give me some input on geting thru the placement test thank .-Sincerely "some one trying to make it in life

Did you get your ged on your first take? Im taking mine next 3 weeks and i wanna ask you sumthing.. Does the questions on social study, science, and lang art reading have long stories to read?? 'cuz I bought the prep book and the sample exams have a long stories and not enough time if i have to re-read it again, do they have that also on the ged?

@Skyethur I get asked this question A LOT. To me, it was sort of easy, but there are some questions that are pretty tricky. Just study, know how to write a good essay, and read the questions VERY carefully

@MrJoeMontano koo, im waiting on my math results,, probably get here in a week or so. this was my 3rd time taking the math. and i studied multipying,& dividing fractions, graphing. and reasoning skills. im sure i passed,. The rest of the subjects were a piece of cake for me,, i was like are you serious. and i rushed through the essay part of the writing . i wrote like a 5 paragraph essay in under 15 mins.haha my topic wasnt so hard.. it was " describe your dream home land" or somthing like that

@MrJoeMontano hey joe i got a question for you man ok, i want to get my GED real real badly and the reason why i couldnt graduate from high school was one just one standardize test (the math) you needed a 2100 to pass and i kept on getting a 2080 and spent close to a thousand dollars in tutoring to pass and i was a straight A-B student from freshman to senior year and what i want to ask you is how hard is the GED like is it just basic stuff?

@MrJoeMontano hey dude im taking mine 31st of this month should i study first or just go try it and let them put me where i belong because i think its a little to late to study now im only 2 days away so i whould like to know what to expect.do i have to do it on a computer im going to TCTC to do mine and i was wondering if i had to do it on paper or computer because im old school and when i droped out of school well i got home schooled then i droped out i was only 16.
