will you be able to order clothes online? How come you can only take one suitcase? I was able to take two suitcases and two carry-ons with me to Finland, and one of my carry-ons is big enough to fit all the clothes I wear regularly ;) Have fun packing and getting ready for your new adventure!

Aww thanks! Will you be bringing a computer? My computer weighs 70 lbs, which was the maximum I could have in one suitcase! LOL I could've brought more belongings with me if I didn't insist on bringing my computer :P
I'll be bringing my laptop, my camera, webcam, Ipod, portable dvd player and all my Cds/DVDs on handluggage, plus power conversion-adaptors for all this junk, so I hope it all gets past. I heard if you put them in shopping bags, they let you bring more than 1 bag for carry-on. I'm prepared to test this theory!
Check the airline website, they should have really good information on baggage allowances. Air Canada had the maximum dimensions and weights for carry-on bags and one of my carry-ons is a small suitcase! It was 40 lbs. The other was a bag that fit my laptop and all my electronics and was 38 lbs ;)
