@Taobaak0 Thats is true, still there is one BUT.. How could have britain helped U.S.A when their Island was in total lockdown, they couldnt have send any supporting goods into U.S.A. About Russia. They needed all the materials for their war machines against Germany. In fact they Received support from U.S.A ( Thompsons, M1911 Colt's, canfood, Etc. ). France was under German control, Germans had U-boats patrolling in America's coasts.
*Worst mistake japanese did, they didnt make a good SMG
@gongels94 That's what my American Government teacher told me! She said that if the Japanese had stayed with their plan to invade the western coast of the US after Pearl Harbor, they could have occupied HALF of the country before the US could react! Because remember that the US was a "sleeping giant", their military wasn't strong until they entered the war.
Every single WW 2 game trailers I've seen are politic and history battle ground. The problem is 99 % of arguer here are etremely ignorant. They argue not to seek the truth but to protect their national pride. I notice everytime US lost a battle , the American always say: "It was a fierce battle, we lost x troop but we killed 2x or 5x or 10x more enemy so it's a strategic victory for us".And The Japanese even change history book. All of you scum nationalists are embrassment for humanity
@aclock2 Eh. Say what you will about nationalists being an "embrassment" (Very professional spelling. I also like how you say that the arguers here are ignorant, when you refuse to spell embarrassment or even extremely right.) Good thing the US rarely loses wars right? We enjoy fuckstomping people on the battlefield. Japan deserved what happened to them. What their military did in Nanking is an absolute fucking disgrace, and that's going light.
i hate living here sometimes, average americans are so ignorant and only stck up for this place because they live here, i speek for everyone, the japanese shouldnt have became violently expantionists and the US shouldnt have cut the oil and metal supply to them because thats what led to the two fighting, plus we all know that the first europeans did that to the native americans, manifest destiny, people dont want to realize here that amreicans can be hipocrits sometimes
NO ONE IN THE USA WOULD BE MADE TO SPEAK GERMAN OR JAPANESE.
That is something US WW2 vets would say almost as a joke. There is no Great Britten the unsinkable air craft carrier that allowed for Germany to be taken with numbers not better solders or ideas . For Germany or Japan to take the USA they need a place about 40 miles off cost to train send attacks re con and invaded. Sorry not in the time of 1939 to 1945 the USA was lucky as it was so far away.
@hessfl sorry to rain on your parade here, but japan had enough resources to invade the US in the early months of the war. after pearl harbor the entire american pacfic fleet was crppiled, it was sheer luck that the carrires stioned there were moved out the harbor just 2 days before the attack
@Simmo8536 That was probably the luckiest day in American history. If our carriers weren't in the war... The entire course of the war would have changed.
No, they really didn't. It's not just about being able to land some troops on the coast, it's about keeping the upplies to them flowing. And the japanese merchant marine was already stretched as is with their operations throughtout the Pacific.
The treaty resulted in harsh monetary reparations, territorial dismemberment, mass ethnic resettlements and indirectly hampered the German economy by causing rapid hyperinflation - see inflation in the Weimar Republic. The Weimar Republic printed trillions to help pay off its debts and borrowed heavily from the United States (only to default later) to pay war reparations to Britain and France, who still carried war debt from World War I.
Your both fools WW2 started from trying to Treaty of Versailles,
The Treaty of Versailles was neither lenient enough to appease Germany, nor harsh enough to prevent it from becoming the dominant continental power again. The treaty placed the blame, or "war guilt" on Germany and Austria-Hungary, and punished them from their "responsibility" rather than working out an agreement that would assure peace in the long-term future.
@Cladenny Be glad my New Years resolution is not to fight alot. So, all I will say is just please not be racist. this world would be a better place once people like you realize your only making yourself look stupid and uncivilized.

We saw what they were doing and stopped trading so They COULDNT invade china. And WERE the enemy? ha! what a tard. And the imprisonments of jap-americans was wrong but the japanese camps were 10 times worse. They tortured and malnourished and slave labored the prisoners in their camps. Well said BM3. The war has been over for quite awhile now, yet people keep on bashing each other as if its still happening, I pity them. The sad part is, is because of all this arguing imagine if it escalated in the next decade, there could be a WW3. :S
So more and more pressures from US and Japan knew they going to face embargos one way or the others. If Americans didnt have based in Philippines and Guam then it wouldnt be that bad. So Japan did the right thing by knocking out those ships at Pearl and grabbing those resources they needed to keep their lifeline open. Both sides made mistakes and both sides lost alot of lives. It was terrible war, if US didnt drop the atomic bombs it would be over sometime that year due to lack miltiary funds.

Americans were sick too. They were picking on Japan for a long time. Placing an Embargo, turning Britain against them. Japan had no resources, and no one really trade with them. The Embargo made it worst. The US put over 120,000 (120k) Japanese-Americans into prison camps, for being a --Japanese-- American, that is wrong. Yes the Japanese had PoWs, so did the Americans, yes they tortured, so did, and still do Americans.
That is what the government told the people to hide it. Many of these people have been here for years and years. Then all of the sudden they were dragged out of their house and put in imprison camps for no reason.

Do you really think Japan was completely innocent? The reason they needed American oil and supplies was to fuel their invasion of China, where they brutally raped and murdered innocent civilians. The civilian death toll has even been estimated up to 16 million people, even greater than the Holocaust. The embargo was the United States' way to try and curb Japan's conquest of Asia. Japan, being unwilling to do so, realized that US negotiations fail and thus came about the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Yes, because an Empire that murders Chinese civilians en masse, legalizes the raping of korean women and the execution and enslavement of its prisoners of war is so humble and noble.
Lets be honest, the Japanese Campaign in this game is essentially the "Evil" side. Like the Soviets in the Red Alert games. Evil side in quoatations of course because SOME people rationalize that some villains in games are somehow good. Look at Nod's fans in the C&C games for the best example.

Since when the hell is the ethnic cleansing and wholesale murder of innoncent Chinese civilians ever collateral damage? Since when is the intentional enslavement and murder of captured American, British and Canadian troops an accident?
Disagree with the raping of Korean Women? What? Do you deny it ever happened? What next, there was no Holocaust?
I didn't, I just couldn't fit everything into 500 characters. To be fair, I know the Allies commited their own atrocities as well. But that doesn't excuse the Japanese for what they did to people on the flimsy excuse that "Because we didn't sign the Geneva Accord we don't have to follow it!" So yes, sick fucks indeed. Japan needs to come to terms with the reality of WW2.
