Hi, She meant you don't have to have previous experience. You can be trained to be an ATC without having had aviation experience before. It would be nice if all ATCs were pilots so they would know how we're trying to do 10 things at once and answer them as fast as possible. :-) Most ATCs I talk to are so helpful. I'm in awe of what an intense job they have! I'm having trouble not saying thank you over and over, but I really appreciate them.
