in 3 years or so im looking to buy a sg, probably a faded just to see how it is and if i like it ill trade in and save up for a gibson standard probably. or ill just keep the faded, i do like the look, very simple

well i got mine from the factory with screws up + i build my own guitar with the same nashville bridge on it and i constructed it in the same way.... my intonation on both is perfect. but maybe your right zrmotoracer. im not going to say i know a 100% sure now. tell me if you find out

I don't think I have ever seen a Nashville bridge with the screws facing the pickups.....both my Gibson's came from the factory with the screws at the back just like in the pictures on their website.......However I have seen ABR-1 bridges with the screws facing the pickups.....

@koendie mine is like that too, i turned it round and changed the saddles the right way and everything but it still didnt work. the new ones must be meant to be like that

im planning to install a burstbucker pro pickup and a bugsby B5 tremolo tailpiece onto my Gibson SG Faded (like the one on this video)

thats not a good idea well yea i see the fun in a tremolo but it will be fun for like, two hours or something... and it brings the guitar outta tune and if you break a string the guitar will not go in tune before you put on a new string....

if you want a trem then buy a cheap stratocaster or something like that

but anyways you can just shift back if you doesnt like it :D

ok.. for all the posers who dont know a thing about guitars, angus guitar is a 61 reissue les paul(sg) or a gibson standard from the 60s but this guitar is only a sg faded... im not offending anybody, i just want you o know that this is not angus guitar, this is the guitar that all the hardcore bands use

Me Too! I love it!!! I used to own a sg standard but had to trade it for reasons out of my control. I got the 3 pickup faded black special and I love it. it may not be as good looking as a standard but IMO it plays sounds and feels just as good Rock On!
