@IntricationZ Make sure you've got the Hammer equipped *and do an attack with it* before you do Icarus Ascension then press L1 on the way up, that should perform MotK every time.
Practise it out in the open first.
Icarus lift is the double jump. Just press X to perform it.
@addaminsain Iep i'm doing that already. but can you go into more detail at the timing where you press for Motk? I've tried all sorts of timings, and the successful tries seem to come randomly. :( thanks

others favour are limited to bonusplay. It is all about restraint. Just because you have the BoO doesn't mean you need to use it.
Know that in normal play you would still have two subweapons at this point, the RAW POWER that is the BH and the best weapon in the game, the might mighty SoD.
The single lift high jump I use to clear the gate is a refined version of a tactic used the infinite jump I suck at the IJ so I went with what worked for me, hopefully others can use this skip to end the

The ledge can be grabbed from either side. Why it is there I don't know. This skip isn't a massive saving but it does make retrying the fight over and over less annoying.
Good luck with the TMNUR, it shouldn't be too bad but you know where to look for guidance advice. Lots of CR and BH should get you through it.
I can't get the timing right, only seem to get Might of the King to appear 1 in 7 tries. Anyway what is Icarus Lift? simply holding X?
One more thing, if I save, will there be any bugs or glitches for the rest of my playthrough? Thanks

I don't know of it being an issue with the collection *got it but haven't played it yet.
You want to press L1 as the wings are folding away.
Are you just tapping L1, if so make the press more deliberate, then once the MotK animation begins tap start.
If it is any consolation the return journey is a lot easier to make.
Also this skip will not cause any problems later, I've played to completion after doing it.

It's a great "shortcut", but I had a hard time getting on the stupid ledge, on the way back.
When I finally did, I used the 15k orbs I was saving up and maxed out AQ, and I passed this damned fight.
I'm not as PRO as you to use high jump with such ease.

Glad it helped. Its only a small saving but it takes the frustration out of retrying wave 3.
The lowland caves aren't too bad though, just a couple of fights...

Won't infinite MP+GR give the fastest time on waves 1&2? Rest, will comment once cast comes off and get a chance to actually try it out.

(Return) I prefer gliding over since a higher leap tends to grab then release the ledge. It's more reliable as such.
