For a thesis paper in college, I wrote about germs, parasites, diseases and toxins found in foods - and, no one wanted to hear it!? Tapeworms were one of the internal parasites I researched and wrote about. Theoretically, this can, and, has, worked...but, once it reaches a certain size and has reproduced, 'they' must be killed and passed from the host. Then, this can be repeated. This would have to be done in a laboratory environment by a good physician, and, not thru the mail. :(

Just took parasitology. The tapeworms that cause problems are the "pig" tapeworms (ones normally founded in pigs). Taenia solium. They are smaller, and leave the intestine to migrate to other organs. Taenia saginata ("cow" tapeworms) do not do this. My micro teacher said this.. and I quote "If you're going to use tapeworms then use the cow tapeworms because the pork ones will roam all over the place". There ARE medications to rid yourself of a tapeworm. That is how it is intended for use.
