I like both versions of this. Playing it fast like billy joel keeps it from being just another ragtime piece. But I definitely like this traditional piece, well played. Its the same notes but its two very different feelings.
I've always thought that Root Beer Rag was played way too fast. I like your more traditional style of playing a rag time tune. Rag was not meant to be played too fast
Its great, but I think your working too hard. Billy Joel doesn't do the chord stretches as much as you do, bu then again he is going like 5 million times faster. Great job! 4 stars
Whoa! VERY cool. Great stuff. How long did it take you to learn this piece? Did you have to learn it from sheet music or do you play by ear? I'd love to be able to play it.
It looks like you are playing a "Clavinova" type piano there, which possibly has a disc recorder or MIDI arranger. Any chance you could do a rendition of this and record to MIDI for me? I'd be so appreciative.
Very nice! I loved your take on it. You managed to take a mock-ragtime piece and turn it into a real ragtime piece. Not as impressively fast as the real Root Beer Rag, but a great sound, and an excellent variation. Good job!
I wasn't expecting this...it really does sound pretty good! I like it!

it sounds not very fluent, You have to play this song fast if it should sound well

yea, the most people try to play it fast but with no emotions, so this is really pretty good

Bit of both. I took a very basic arrangement but it sounded crap, so jazzed it up a bit. Glad you like it!

I would if I could but I'm afriad I am a bit rusty with that this piano can do. How do I do it? Is it easy?

Ok, first of all, does it have a floppy disc drive?
