I think this is by far the best proof possible of pets sharing the same emotions and feelings that we humans have. I'm very sorry for your loss, and im sure Brandy is still mourning
I know how it feels. My Grandpap passed away 5 years ago and on the next month that my pap died his dog Clohe pass away and he passed away right next to my paps bed. And then his second dog is doing bad ever since my pap passed away his other dog Casey has gotten blind and death. I miss my pap and so do they. :(
i feel horrible for that dog.. after watching this, i literally wrote myself a note to make sure i spend all day tomorrow with my dog, duffy who is getting really old and sick. id go and play with him right now, but its 2.30 in the morning, and hes in my parents room. <3
I know how this is, When my Grandfather passed on his toy poodle lady McBuff(Buffy for short) used to lay on his pillow and jsut Cry,and when the bedroom door was shut she would lay on his chair and not let any one near her or the chair. sadly she passed on a year later on the same day as my grandfathers 1 year Angelversery.
@jsrcamp it was really noticeable after a couple of months, after the crash, when Dion's girlfriend came around for a visit after recovering from her own injuries, Brandy went literally crazy when he saw her, and then proceeded to race around the house looking for Dion, as Brandy had associated the girlfriend with Dion being around.
we had two dogs and one died suddenly last year the other one greaved so much that she would not eat and her fur started to fall out in dec 2008
we got her another companion within days she was eating a month later her fur started to grow back it was the best thing we ever did now we can not separate them my depest condolencies to you RIP Dion xx

My Puppy went nuts when I was in Townsville for two weeks and my boyfriend and house mate were feeding her for me. Some nights my boyfriend told me that he would watch John go out to feed her and she would come running to the back enclosure door and stop in her tracks when she saw it wasn't me. I'm the only one that feeds her so the night I came home I couldn't get her off me. She cried she was that happy I was home.
That is by far, the most saddest video I have ever watched on YouTube. Our pets know when something's wrong in our lives and they certainly grieve when their loved one is gone. Brandy truly remembers Dion and we will remember him through his loving eyes.
Brandy literally counts the kids, and he knew something wasn't right, when Dion doesn't come home, the only other dog I knew that did that, was my samoyed that I had growing up, my mum told me that shannon used to count us, and hang around the garage till missing one came home, especially if I had to go to spend some time in hospital, the day Dions gf came around her about a year ago, when Brandy saw her, he went crazy cos whenever she came to the house Dion would always be here, they grieve too
omg...thats is so sad, its amazing how they can tell..I swear tears came rolling down my face..I just wanted to pick that puppy up and squeeze ...Even when Brandy heard Dion's voice she turned her head..What loyalty..Thats so sweet.Ahh give ur puppy big kisses for me!!
on the video I took on 17 June last year, of Dion stirring up brandy, sometimes he will still go running around the house looking for Dion, not as much as he did in the beginning but it proved to me that Pets do look for those they love and are familiar with,
