*HEY JUST A QUICK CORRECTION: The resulting planet from the impact of Tiamat and Nibiru was called "KI", not Eridu. Eridu was the name of the first city set up by the Anunnaki on Earth, which means "Home in the Faraway" in Sumerian (according to Zecharia Sitchin).

I also like all of the mentions of the "snake brothers" and "Nagas" and "Chitari". Something you should consider though, is that the Sumerian God, EN.KI. and his clan were represented by the symbol of the serpent (think Adam and Eve), so that might explain why the Chitari are the "children of the serpent".

actually in serbian folklore there is a similar story of "dragons" from the ehteral, arriving through meteors mixing with humans and providing protection. the individuals who are mised with "dragon" were claimed to have been heros, military or otherwise, or witches and psychics. I believe in the Annunaki and that humans were genetically engineered, but most people only seem to class the Sumerian gods and gods in the Old Testament as genetic scientists.
