Thanks for sharing your new hair color find! Do you know if this hair color at Aveda is safe during pregnancy? How do you recommend covering a few grays during pregnancy??
@flamingopink9 Great question. I would imagine so, but check with the salon: I got to the New York Vandam Street salon - they are quite helpful and their number is (212) 473-0280. They should also be able to help you find a great salon near you - if this is not.
@Muska5 Hi! And apologies am replying SO late!! They don't sell hair dye in stores, but they do an amazing and such a natural job at the salons that I would highly recommend it! They would cover grays for sure. They can do anything!
Does it cover greys? I always wanted to go to natural dyes. I have recently turned to hennas but it's a long and messy process. Please let me know if it works on grey hair as well. Thanks :)
I didn't know that there is no PPD's in their dyes! That is the ONE thing in other hair dyes that makes hair dye a cancer causer, not the ammonia. Everyone always talks about the ammonia levels, but that isn't what's really bad in hair dye. It's the PPD. SO, this is AMAZING! I'm so glad that I used this dye instead of a regular dye when I was pregnant (during third trimester)! Relieved to know that they don't use the other toxic ingredients too. Way to go, AVEDA! I'm a customer for life. :)
Thanks!! I'm still super excited about it and it's not fading yet:-) I have the temporary color as that's the one that's 99% natural. Also, I think the permanent is risky in the 1% chance you don't love it. I have to say I have never have anyone take so much time making sure the color looked natural too (I did color my hair until I stopped six years ago) - they didn't just dump a bunch of color all over, but treated the whole head of hair almost strand by strand.

@YurieXoxoSong1004 Yay! At Aveda or elsewhere? I love playing with color now that I finally know there's a more natural option.
