Drawing a Cartoon character

Sometimes Illustrator gives a little blob in tight curves. It helps to make a small cut in the stroke using the scissor tool.

@kh12000 Not realy, what you see is this, normally in photoshop you draw in pixels and the anti aliasing occurs emidiatly. But in illustrator the program has to make the calculations where to put the vectorpoints. So when you draw you see an impression and after you've drawn the line the vector line appears.

@kh12000 I still love using the good ol' brush and ink though. Nothing beats the feel of paper and the smell of ink. But since this is my daily work, doing it digitaly makes it easier to make changes afterwards, if the clients want me to change things.
