  • Just watched Matt "MoJo" Tedder's latest video "Voo Doo Chile" on his own Channel... Out Of Sight Guitarist! You MUST be proud Rev. Muddy! The Very Best To You!

  • Wow that was totally amazing. The kid played great.

  • I saw the other video and he is a much improved player. What did you focus on with him to improve his playing?

  • im going to get a electric guitar asap to learn jus never had time but imma make time i love bb king music n u teach it in a way its quick an easy to learn in the south we yell GO HEAD ON DEN LIL MAN AN POPS!!! or ALRITE NOW!!!!!

  • super!

  • Nice playing kid, I hope you still are practising as much as a few years back. Seriously, it takes years to play guitar as easy as it is to walk and talk. and you sure play damn good for one that only has one year of experience/lessons The whiners commenting here about feeling and stuff are just jealous and wished they had started at your age, so they could've been on stage with all the current guitar gods

  • I think the "old fat guy" whooped that ten year old kids ass. Maybe thats just me.

  • tbh if i wernt watching the video i couldnt tell you who was playing what, they were both damn good

  • In a world where Bushes and Rudds are voted in to power by the working class scum that is what makes up the core of humanity, it is easy to understand the idiocy of the average you tuber and non-musician who can't tell the difference between "feeling" and a 6000 dollar guitar.

  • i thought this was a bad ass little jam.. nice going little man.. and old man wooped it down too

  • of course the kids gonna need a lot more experience to be a successful musician for a long time, but anyone who says hes lacking emotion is an idiot. that kids all emotion. way more emotion than the old guy. he outplays that old guy for sure. i cant believe anyones saying the kids lacking emotion...its his best attribute. how about the emotion at 1:00

  • excelente tono ...extraordinario !!! felicitaciones ...congrats!!!!!!!! A1!

  • ..shook me

  • lad makes it look easy. Grandson?

  • not bad but virtuos? ..

  • i don't understand why people need to judge the kid so harshly on tiny details about his playing... he's 10!!!!

  • I don't know. The term "virtuoso" gets thrown around a lot, especially on Youtube. Kid has a lot of potential, no doubt, but you can definitely hear the difference in experience and seasoning in the older gentleman's playing. That's something that just comes in time and cannot be taught, especially when it comes to technically "simple" styles like blues. The experience shines through the sound.

  • This little boy`s playing shines trhough the blues; he is just talented and he got what it takes to play guitar. He is got a mesmerizing and elusive fact that cannot be learned. The elder man cnnot match the younger playing, no matter how hard he tries; playing clean, distorted or callit what you will.¿What can we expect from this 10 year old? Everything, if teh stupidity, envy and anger of so many people don´t destruct his wonderful talent . Wich I hope won´t happen. Good luck!!

  • How'zat mess'ur baby up Leegggg, Blown a ways away, thanks, loved it !

Dennis your a truly humble guitar here man & I can see/hear your influence there & i'm wishen i could come & meet you & learn from you .

Thanks again for producing the DVD I'm learning heaps.

  • what the living heck happened at the very end????? lol

  • 5 stars

  • Soul at that age, don't think so.

As to virtuoso.. I think good student.

Very very good but he has poor timing

and plays like a parrot, mimmicking what he has heard/seen. I see nothing original or unusual. or "soul"ful.

With age and time , no doubt he'll be a fine guitarist.

  • kid has soul

  • This kid sounds better than me. PISSES ME OFF!

  • Comment removed

  • 3:14 yngwie malmsteen

  • wtf is up with the ending!!!

  • if he's playing guitar for like.. let's asay 2 years.. he's no virtuoso. i'm not a hater.. i'm just saying.

  • A joy to listen to! Kid got some talent there, if you ask me. Great blues, lets hope we all can get a re-spawn of the blues, I would really like a new Stevie Ray Vaughan, please :)

  • good but i wouldnt say virtuoso.

  • is improvisacion?? si es improvisacion el chiko es un genio si no no xDD

  • kid sucks. Everything was memorized. He didn't improv anything. You can easily tell when the old dude stopped playing in the beggining.

  • @u2berz post something better instead of talking shit - its one thing to criticize, its another to be an arrogant piece of shit - you sir are the later and i would LOVE to see what you can do on a guitar (at your age ... lucky you)

  • stfu fag, lmao

  • @u2berz exactly - no class and no brains. would love it if every 150lb loser that called me a fag would step up and say it to my face once day.

  • @ dkrasney

haha wtf is a 150lb loser. You're a fuckin virgin with no friends. Do yourself and society a favor and cut the shit out of your wrists man. Srsly hahahah faaaaaaaag.

Here goes another reject trying to act tough over the net and start shit. lmao

  • @u2berz since you obviously can't comprehend what i am saying to you i will break it down. my guess is you are probably between the age of 14 - 21 and you just recently had sex for the first time and think you are the biggest baller in the world. you are probably between 120 - 150lbs and have to talk shit about little kids to get ur jollys off, because if you did it to someone like me in real life (not on fairly land youtube) you would get put in ur place real quick. done - no more response

  • hahah I didn't even read what you said. Please just do yourself and society a favor and kill yourself.

  • Checked out your vids and I can safely say that this kid has a better touch and better knowledge on good tone than you, u2berz.

Give the kid some slack, he's so young. Cliche beginner soloing, but could easily be improvised.

If you want more people to check out your stuff to begin with, make constructive critisism or be a kinder person.

  • @dkrasney I would happily step up to your face and call you a fag. An then laugh as you attempt to probably hit me. XD. In fact i will do happily if you buy me a plane ticket.

  • im sure ur a big tough guy man. i wish i was right next to you so i could see ur face and see how quickly u appologize

  • ha ur actually a tit, u should really find out who u r trying to offend before you do :p

  • just remember how good you were in that age.....

  • I didn't play at that age. And what does "in that age" mean, retard?

  • who said anything about improv? the fucking kid is 10 lol. give him a break

  • @u2berz To be fair, he's a lot better than you.

  • wow so negitive. This kid is amazing! Great job guys

  • I applaud any young boy keeping the blues alive for another generation.

keep it up son, and go listen to hendrix live red house and you'll be able to skip a couple steps!

  • imo gary moore style ;)

  • u guyz r great together, keep it up, no questions asked.

  • no kid can play blues properly - ok, he has technical skills, but there is not passion, no soul in his playing. perhaps in 20 years it will be different.

  • Hey Pirozky, Look..Lighten up OK? He's just a ten year old kid in this video and I didn't put it up here for you to critisize OK? Just give the young Man a little credit. Besides he could clip his little finger nail off and when it hit the floor it would still have more tallent in it than your whole body! By The Way...Where is your great video you made blazing away on a LP when you were ten years old? That's what I thought! STFU then. LOL-LOL-LOL Rev. Muddy

  • @dennisdullea Well that's the problem really, if you have nothing to show, don't show it.

  • he' awesome for a ten years boy !

  • @dennisdullea woah dennis calm down, pirozky has a pont, but some kids can play the blues properly (like me) :D But still I think thats a bit harsh

  • Respond to this video...

    @dennisdullea

He doesn't have a video of him blazing away on a 6k dollar guitar and what sounds like a 2k amp when hes 10 let alone 15 or whatever because he isn't a rich drug dealing pig like you. Go kill yourself. Any one can play like this with 10 mins a day of practice for a year, and with a guitar like that, an untrained and unmusical ear is set to think he is a genious simply from strumming a few power chords or blatantly average

    blues.

  • @dennisdullea I think you just got owned ?

  • @dennisdullea Don't you love them internet einsteins lol? So basically that guy was trying to say the kid is an empty cage that produces notes on a guitar.

The reverse is true listen to his phrasing and string bending its apparent hes quite excellent already.

I've seen adult musicians that still play pentatonic scales aimlessly and this kid has already transcended that. :D

  • @dennisdullea Dennis, I bought your DVD and it's great. After working with the DVD I decided I liked you a lot. But after reading your reply to pirozky, I REALLY like you!! Why do some people have to be so critical? I wonder what that jackass was doing when he was ten? Probably wetting the bed. Anyway, Dennis, thanks for the DVD and Mr. Mojo Tedder is awesome. Keep the Blues alive brothers!

  • blues has no passion but some rock and metal does but mostly classical . no pop music has passion either.

  • blues has no passion? look up what blues is...its all about the passion

  • @pirozky your a douche

  • theethan5, next time try to use your brain before writing, not your one-eyed wonder worm

  • at least i don't pick on a 10 year old boy, and try to break him down, you owe that kid, for giving you the sound of blues, ya loser, and thats a one-eyed wonder snake to you

  • i am not picking on anyone and i am not trying to break anybody down. loser is your father, ask him, you mutton dagger.

  • ok, truce, your cracking me up with your choice of words, and that father thing would bother me, but its true lol, you say you meant no harm to kid, i believe ya, mutton dagger, thats great!

  • @pirozky

How the fuck is a 10 year old supposed to inject passion into his playing? Please enlighten me on what possible life experiences a privileged white kid could have that would inspire passion in his music. Give him a break, he's fuckin' baller at guitar for such a young guy. LOL JEALOUSY

  • @dudemac, so how the fuck a 10 years old guy with no experience actually can play blues, you dumbass? he can´t. that´s what i am saying.

    jealousy :-))) ROFL. STUPIDITY

  • @pirozky How may you critisize a ten year old kid who's learning how to play guitar and blues ? Are you just able to play three chords ? I'd like to be in front of you and hit my fist on your face. Shut up stupid guy ! Every player at any age has to learn and that kid does it well. You maybe have in mind any blues player can have the soul after 20 years of hard times ? You're wrong ! If he was paying bebop blues, what would you say ? Sorry if my English isn't that good, I'm a French speaker.

  • @pirozky man your dumb!

  • its very cool to see a boy play like that..im impressed to see that a boy at that age finding a appreciation for the blues applealing

  • He knows how to play... But he didn't show any emotion at all...

Needs to add more emotion into the playing...

    Good job though.

  • cute

  • Do you want me to transcribe it?

  • im not telling he is not a good performer, he knows well the scale and knows how to play it.But something to be amaze like alot of people comments ... not really

  • Comment removed

  • I could listen to this all day! you BOTH rock

  • the music world today saddens me deeply

take a metal guitar player and have him play his heart out

at the end, it'll be him playing super fast, shredding like a maniac, and then it'll be over, and he'll move on with his day

now ask a blues player to play his heart out, and you'll see him become that which he is playing

a sad blues song will many times leave a guitarist in tears, while an angry one will have them smash their guitars (Jimi Hendrix, Pete Townshend)

I'd go for the blues any day

  • u can be a metal guitarist and still put emotion into your playing...im a guitarist that plays everything, rock, metal, blues, classical, u name it, i put emotion into everything i play, infact i find metal to be extremely emotional, pisses me off more than anything XD but really u can put emotion into every style

  • @nicodemus95 Go play indian :D

  • cool

  • Peter Green style ...

  • the "fat old guy" is really talented , dont look only at the kid =)

  • this kid has a $h*t ton of soul and style im jealous

  • I'm actually rather impressed because this kid is using major thirds in his licks instead of leaving the pentatonic purely minor.

  • I think it's hilarious that there's so many comments here judging the kid and his amazing ability.

    It just screams jealousy

  • that les paul is just about as big as he is, but he is feelin it though, i bet by the time thissongs over he will need some advil for his back those things are heavy.LOL. he plays real smooth for a kid. old fat dude is wailing on his LP also

  • God nobody ruin this kid with any crap like non pentatonic playing...

  • Give that kid a break he is only 10 years old.

  • Maxomillian, thanks, slayer 5976 post a vid response, great job 10 year old, and fat guy, your the best

  • You don't have emotion just because of that. Usually people express their emotions, which he does not. He is blankly staring around the room, only trying to impress people, at least it seems this way to me. It appears that he has no feeling.

  • damn , to all the people around here commenting about the whole emotion thing, thats a bunch of bullshit do you really think that changing your facial expressions reflects the sound of your guitar?

Its all dynamics, experience, and the right choice of notes.

Look at Wes Montgomery solos great jazz player with almost no expression in his face.

Ps: The kids probably nervous since theres a camera in his face.

  • @maxomilian

    i agree with you man..

  • @maxomilian If you think playing with emotion refers to the facial expressions then you really need to have a serious think about whether you're meant to be a guitarist or not (assuming you are a guitarist).

  • @fletchers4 .....i believe what your refering to is related more towards phrasing and articulation. obvioisly as the kid grows so will his techhnique and dynamic approach. When we speak of emotion we're speaking of the interest the player has in his music and not just racing through it like a chore and yeah its seen through the facial expressions just like how we see human emotion through the eyes and body language.

And that comment about overthinking being a guitarist was pretty immature.

  • they rock or suck

  • The kid is 10 years old what kind of blues and feelings do you expect him to have?

  • blues is all about playing with feeling, im not going to say he cant play the blues, but he has no feeling at all...which is...epic fail.

  • using /b/tard lingo about the blues is, as one would say 'Epid fail'

this kid does have feeling, just not developed and matured over the years.

    (Nice video btw)

  • he has no soul. you can see the plain expression on his face as he blankly stares at the walls of the room.

  • yes sir he learned it like a metronome wich is fail

  • The kid plays nice but somehow I can feel it is just learned note by note. He doesn't seem to understand what he's playing.

    Very good though.

  • Nice to see a youngster playing the blues....make that guitar cry.

  • WoW...He has a very good understanding of the Blues for his age...its all about soul and you have to be mature and have lots of living years to play it well, but he does it like he done it for ever :) The older dude is also a great Blues player....enjoyed this video all the way!

  • Kid's amazing and he'll have an amazing career, but dennis "fat guy" dullea still rules.

  • the kid is holding his guitar improperly, apparently he was taught well but the his teacher didn't show him the proper way to hold the thing. . .hmmmm

  • LOOK AT HOW BIG THE GUITAR IS for a little kid.

He wouldnt be able to get his arm around it "the normal way"

  • fat guy

  • ahh turn off the delat..

  • the fat guys like thinking about food he keeps lookin up at 0:57

  • haha...old fat guy

  • kid looks bored out of his mind .

  • this kid is great finaly one that doesn't play fast with distortion that blow youre brains out, and guys this kid HAS feeling and if he keeps listening to blues it will only become even better

  • It's funny that whenever there's a young kid that's good at guitar people always scream "NO FEELING" or "NO SOUL". Seriously, look at any youtube video of a kid rocking out and you'll see the guitarists with sticks up their asses protesting against the kids' skills.

    You both are great.

  • holy shit that's some great lead guitar man

  • Seriously,, how many effect-pedals did they have?

  • ZZZ normal blues guitar scale....

    The kid isn't half bad......

Why is everyone trying to make there 10 year old play blues guitar and have buddy guy and shit sponsor them and they get big over nothing? It's a long way to the top kids get good.

  • Dead right man, dead right I'm sick to death of people saying 10 year old guitar god and stuff although i gotta give it to this kid he is pretty good

  • I pretty much have to agree. This kid, although he plays far better blues than most other kids, isn't what I'd call a prodigy. The term "prodigy" would be more applicable to someone like a young Shawn Lane.

  • ou yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! =D

  • Great playing kid, keep jamming you will be great... Not yet a virtuoso though. Sorry.

  • It sounds good, but where's the feeling?

  • yeah those ten year olds with their lack of feeling. losers

  • Lawl, It's just the look on their faces.

  • this is NOT a virtuoso. He's good for 10...but no not a virtuoso

  • nice playing

  • this isnt impressive, theres nothing unique about this blues here. it sounds like all the blues vocab that has already been done by every blues guitarist just about.

  • Im falling asleep

  • next time put a halfway drunk open bottle of JD on the floor next to the kid

  • And looks like, the older one feels it.

  • I see no good guitarist here...just a couple people playin blues..seen it a million times before..whatver lol

  • 10 Years old kid won i would say =P I Dont know much of guitar but it sounded nice when the kid played

  • Both look totally bored...this ain't just blues, this is sad. Great playing though.

  • His teacher must be a real jerk ^^

  • damn right, this kid got the blues!!!!!!!!! hell yeah!!!!

  • damn that guitar looks to big for him but he can still jam major props

  • lol

  • Wow, this is very, very impressive.

Good job Matthew, keep up this good work. Dontcha' just love the blues? =]

    Be Well.

    -Thomas D.

  • That guy is amazing! where what how and when did this happen i feel like quiting now

  • Dennis, Great Student = Great Teacher! Can you teach this stuff to old people? Kepp up the good work Dennis!

    Steve

  • Quality. Loved every minute.

  • blues, easiest to play for beginning guitarists and perhaps the most expressive form of guitar playing. Easiest to play, hardest to master.

  • Easy to play, hard to feel, like Hendrix said. :)

  • very nice of you to take time with young man wow you play awesome! and your not old and fat! quit that!

  • great !!!

  • Carvetop01: It's Easy to see that you are a complete Virtuoso on Guitar, & You have the intellectual depth of a Genius. • Yawn zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Lol!!! 4:35 funny as hell

  • easy to play, hardto feel my friend. Making prob the hardest form of music to perfect or be near perfect

  • the old guy has way better control

  • Comment removed

  • The kid is slowing it down!!

  • Very nice. Sweet Sixteen by B.B King XD I like your style lad.

    5 Stars.

  • LOL! thats brilliant lol see the fat guys face XD

  • kids got soul

  • hahaha, he didn't mess up. you don't need to play within the margins of a scale for you to be alright.

  • Well sorry, maybe i've gotta say it different.

I think it sounded pretty strange around 3:12.

  • He is just jazzin' it a bit up :D

  • You're Mom fucked up when she porked the Milk Man.

  • if you got nothing smart to say, then please go away... loser XD

  • For a young kid he's got a nice solid foundation. Anyone talking trash is just jealous.

  • Hay staticxfrk, what the hell do you know about music, besides that bullshit screaming videos you post, and you cant even play anything

  • nice going man...u need to position ureself better when u sit though

  • no he didnt

  • some day.. me and my son will looks like that

  • Very nice job by both of them! Blues is some fun stuff that has a real nice feel, especially on improv. :D
