@THEFLYINGREDNECK Can't comment on technical death metal, as not my thing, but for older stuff, I'd suggest Left Hand Path and Clandestine by Entombed, Like an ever Flowing Stream by Dismember, Where No Life Dwells by Unleashed and You'll Never See by Grave. Also, Death's Leprosy and Human (amongst others) and Necroticism... by Carcass are "must haves" really. Beyond that, tonnes of great stuff from the early 90s - Xysma, Purtenance, Funebre, Furbowl, Gorement, Dawn, Demilich, Desultory, Demigod
