This ad was first seen around 1949, and was animated by James "Shamus" Culhane's New York commercial studio [he later included examples of the Ajax elves in a book on animation/cartooning].

Score! Great commercial, shown in many episodes of the 50's show called, When TV was funny, starring Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Great cleanser too, Asked my mom she uses it all the time, that whole commercial tells complete truths.

@thecosmicdancer Methinks TV Land cut this part out for that same concern.
Nowadays... nail polish remover, glue, magic markers(perm-type), etc... all the things kids like to sniff.
