Is there a reason why Air Force One landed at night? Its a shame people didnt get to see it land in the flesh if it was daylight. Any answers? Security reasons perhaps? Anyone?

Probably because it is a 12.5 hour flight to Australia from America, (plus about 5hrs from Washington DC.) And depending on what time the President could leave, is what time he would land. Considering they need to maximise time for him to get things done, he probably left at a time accordingly.

the runway here wasn't ready for a plane as big as a boeing 747, especially not an over-weight one such as Air Force 1 so no matter how lightly the aircraft touched down, the cracks were inevitable Canberra airport is not usally an Intl airport, but the Prime minister used to fly out to America every month, however, he only uses a boing 737 modified to carry enough fuel to last an express international flight.

Hey, Yes and no, its kinda near there, but its actually under the old control tower, if u know how to get there, it is under there, in the carpark, off link road i think. thats the best spot for 34L i think, 16R, is futhur around next to the fence, where the Air Pacific is a 1:36, also under the NEW control tower is good for 16R. For 16L/34R u have to go to the end of 16L, just off foreshore road. but yeah, close enough to brighton le sands.

There isnt actually a fenceline in this video so you must be referring to my A380 video, there are 2 fencelines i know of that i goto, the one next to the main road in the A380 singapore video, or the one next to 34L on the water...stuff like the UAL840 one..

To get to the one where the singapore A380 was u need to goto the new control tower, and follow the fench and go up the hill.. and the UAL one, go past the OLD tower and walk along the beach :)
