  • this 'aint widescreen, this is obese screen.

  • the only way to play Source games is on ATi

  • Is there a way to keep the HUD on the center screen?

  • i was getting 30 fps with all the settings to max on my radeon 9800xt in this game.. that was with my old alienware

  • I could run half life 2 on OLD radeon 9250 on max on 25 fps

  • half life 2 don't need too much too run at a good fps, my fx5200 can run it with 30-70 fps xD but all in low or medium settings =(

  • lo que mas afecta a un juego no es tanto el la configuracion grafica , lo que baja fps es la resolucion y el AA.

    sorry 4 my bad inglish.

  • im sorry im try say is...

what affects one game but not so much the graphical settings, low fps what is the resolution and AA

    im use google traslate

  • Only thing missing is support for cylindrical projection.

  • do you know any trick 2 get 5040x1050 on vista?

  • the bottom one is cool cus it gives you peripherals,

    big advantage in online games.

  • i prefer the one on the bottom my monitor is widescreen

  • i dont like the way the screen looks all strecthed out its weird and too long

  • OMFG!!! it's so awsome...

but looks a bit unatural... :(

  • that FOV would really help in online shooters, but it just seems unnatural for some reason.

  • That looks amazing, though a bit of commentary in your gaming videos would be nice especially as your voice is very clear in your hardware reviews.

  • can triplehead2go achieves resolution @ 5040x1050? I think its max res is only something around 3000 x 1024

  • A firmware and software update in August allows for 5040x1050 @57Hz. Check out the WSGF for details and more info

  • can i ask 1 more question, which monitor model that u'd recommend for triplehead2go gaming setup, especially those 22" monitors? thanks

  • reducing FOV reduces edge distortion

  • Do you know how well the Matrox TripleHead2Go would work with the NVIDIA 8600 GT? I haven't been able to find anything on the compatibility.

  • It would not go well.

  • Check out our video about edge distortion. It even happens in 4:3. It is exaggerated in the Wide Surround. But, when it's in the context of 3x 22" monitors and at the edge of your peripheral vision, it is far less noticeable. With the 720p video, you're taking the stretch and putting it very close to the center of your FOV.

  • It doesn't look right how it stretches the screen when you turn on the bottom. It would look cool if the game was made for something like this.

  • I have a th2go 3840x1024 setup and can honestly say that it's a world of difference. World of Warcraft or Eve Online are also beautiful. Furthermore (continuing the advertisement) doing any kind of developing or editing is so much nicer with a good amount of screen space.

  • the bottom video shows the wider field of vision from three monitors. the edges that "stretch" are at the edge of your field of vision. it is not distracting.

  • This looks great especially because the view isn't stretched its extended. I hope they release a cheap surround monitor

  • i dont like the way the bottom screen looks when you turn

  • true, doesnt look very natural

  • thats the whole point idiot...

  • and the diffrence is? u cant see it. only thing you can see is one is the top video is smaller than the bottom video.....
