I had a parakeet that would sing/mumble in his sleep. I thought mine was the only one who did that, its so cool to hear that there are others that do that too!
Yes, he says a full "Hasta la vista, baby bird," but when he's asleep (and sometimes awake, LOL) he shortens things or mixes things. Disco is about a year and a half old now, and we have had him since he was four months old. Yes, he was hand-fed/hand-raised since birth, and I think that makes a lot of difference in his temperament and possibly how quickly and easily he learns.
