  • greatest... SHOKTV.COM

  • Jordan was country back in the day

  • Wow just imagine if his ankle didnt heal and he actally reinjured it even worse and shattered it completely - thank goodness that DIDNT happen

  • I love you & miss you Michael. It's that simple.

  • as you can see clearly, lebron travelled

  • can we enjoy a vid without the bullshit of bring up lesser known players please WE ALL KNO JORDAN HAS NO EQUAL

  • Woolridge and Jordan...examples of 2 athletes that can speak the English language fluently...so what happened to alot of this generation's athletes and speaking? Not only that... players like Zach Randolph dont even know how many minutes are played in an NBA game! Its 48 minutes not 42 you idiot!

  • Kobe Great player, but not even close to be in same convo as Jordan

  • @jashraf43 then why did you just mention him?

  • GOAT

  • If only he had ankle insurance...

  • @AnonHateMachine ur dumb.

  • @AnonHateMachine kobitch got sweep yesterday

  • what kind of shoes are those?

  • it's the shoes

  • Stan Albeck looks like Dr. Who on drugs...

  • Ha! Dr. J put Kobe in the top 10, while all these media clowns try to posit the idea of kobe being up there with MJ! Lol, stay on the sidelines media and kill all the comparison talk.

BTW, don't recall having seen that breakaway dunk vs. the celts shown in this vid. Thanks for sharing.

  • i'm better than him

  • @tansai12 of course you are. if kobe is better than him, everyone is.

  • Great stuff i found on the internet was mostly at NBAPremium(.)tk Kinda best NBA site i have ever found

  • LOL @ the Betamax tapes in the background at 1:27

  • lol.. "the foot!" he put it in third person lol

  • So what I'm gathering here is he scored 63 points against the greatest Celtic team, after they had a chance to formulate a new plan of defensive against him, with a 40-1 Home record, in the playoffs, with sub par supporting cast, against the MVP Larry Bird.........with a still fractured foot? MMMMMMM..Kobe Jordan Kobe Jordan...still can't decide who I'd rather have on my team ;)

  • the rules changed in 99 when Sacramento only scores 100 points in league,of course Michael is the best, you cant compares Jordan with kobe.Jordan,Magic,Bird,Chamberlain,Russell all the best in history.

  • @westy44cal the teacher aka agent 23!

  • @westy44cal Kobe, easily

  • @AnonHateMachine You selling any of those drugs you're on :)?

  • wth?

  • "is michael jordan really back?" 49 and 63 in the boston garden. yeah. he's back.

  • "im james brown"

    lol ^^

  • Yeah, me too.

  • How did he get hurt?

  • Jerry Krause is the only reason that MJ scored less than 10 points once in 930 games with the Bulls all because he didnt want him playing on his healed foot.

  • I'm sure he scored less than 10 points a couple of times in his rookie year did he not?

  • Never, MJ played 930 games with the Chicago Bulls, 929 were over 10 points

he scored 8 on the Cavs with limited minutes at the end of the 85-86 season.

  • i don't blame krause. every athlete wants to play and the risk of having your future star risk further injry and maybe jeapordizing there careerr is the smart

  • Krause wanted a high draft pick. Mike wanted to win. Jordan jeopardized his career every night, just by playing the way he did back then, so that was irrelevant. I don't blame Jordan for not sitting on a healed foot and collecting a check.

  • I forgot all about this, Jordan such a champ by every measure. even losing a year when he was in his physical prime.

  • the godfather of soul looks a little different here

  • OK, this is ridiculously rare - thanks so much for upping it. I am a huge collector of all things Jordan-related, so please feel free to put more stuff like this online! Message me anytime to talk MJ...

  • Rare stuff, thanks for sharing!

  • Great upload. I've read about this in his book, For The Love of The Game. He talked about how Jerry Krause wanted lose games for the upcoming draft so we wouldn't let Jordan play as much as he was able to. The determination to play and win. The greatest of all time.

  • In Sam Smith's book "The Jordan Rules" (hardly a book trying to flatter Jordan), Smith, who travelled with the Bulls that season, mentions that Jordan played with broken ribs several times but never let anyone outside the team know because he never wanted to give his opponent an edge.

  • I don't think Sam Smith is trustable jordanlover, he likes to exaggerate a lot. Broken ribs are very painful, and Jordan got hit a lot more than todays players. I'm not sure he could've absorbed the contact in the paint with a broken rib..Bruised ribs make more sense.

  • Sam Smith basically did a hatchet job on Jordan in that book, so I'm not sure why he would exaggerate in order to make Jordan look better. Who knows. Someone posted the excerpt on a forum once; it said that Jordan never let anyone know when it happened because he never wanted the opponent to have an advantage.

  • He wrote a lot of controversial stuff to sell his book, but I don't view him as a Jordan hater per se. He's an attention whore. He likes to blow things out of proportion.

  • anybody know if he has an interview after he shattered the glass in 86?

  • Great vid, when KB dislocated his ring finger last monday against LBJ, the media made a big deal out of it because it was KB and everything had to be dramatized with him. MJ had numerous painful injuries but he would try to not let the media make a circus out of the injury because he knew the importance of not letting the opponents know that he's hurt.

Btw,it was funny how LBJ just bounced KB around during the game and how KB dislocated his finger trying to strip the ball from LBJ's strong grip

  • Nobody talks about Jordan's incredible ability to overcome injury. Broken ankle, tendinitis almost his entire career, broken index finger, multiple sprains. Not to mention the amount of plays that would've resulted in timely injuries for most, that he recovered from in just the same game.

And this is a superb upload, much appreciated.

  • Rare Rare Rare. Thanks!!!

  • It's easy to forget that MJ had a bad injury early in his career cause he was so successful with the recovery. How many times have we heard someone talk about a player - "oh he would have been great without the injury problem etc". MJ was in the same situation but came through. Hell he even retired for almost two regular seasons and still came back to the top. That's domination.

  • Great upload, thanks

  • wow, great
