I heard you say in another video that you applied multiple times to work at the MAC counter and were always turned down - I find that so hard to believe, how ridiculous of them. Your blending is magnifique and you have so many unique ideas. The girls I see at just about every MAC counter always have splattered blotchy foundation, ugly smokey eyes and dopey looking penciled in eyebrows. I just don't understand why you were rejected, you actually have real talent compared to a tacky MAC barbie

@Counterbrilliance its not only her case even i tried at mac and showed them my more than average good looking looks and did pretty demo's thrice at different intervals but they would still employ most ugly looking zero trained girls who don even know how to do basic smokey eyes which i just don know why .... all the girls i meet at mac cant even conceal under eye dark circle .....they literally don know purpose of orange concealer ...(here in India)

@punni71 It's that way in Canada too (Where MAC originated from believe it or not). I've always found the girls they hire are especially ''dumb'' or ''rude'' and at a very low skill level of makeup artistry and like you said can barely do or go beyond a simple ''smokey eye '' look, it's pathetic.

I was told by another beauty guru that you can't just apply to work at MAC, you have to "work your way up" to MAC by working at other "lesser" counters before they will accept you. Ridiculous, I know. Unless she HAS worked at other cosmetic counters, then they're just plain stupid.

They train people to do those clown brows but not cash registers? yeah, okay. ha I don't think people fully realize MAC is there for sales. the people who work there are sales people. makeup skill isn't #1 priority, sales are. I would have been the worst employee anyway, I'd be telling everyone about OTHER brands! haha
