@TheWookiebush I actually dislike Brodeick's version because it lacks expression (musically and emotionally) and was sloppy at some sections. Check out Bojan Ivanovski's version of Caprice 7, I like his version the most.
Chris Broderick has an impressive arpeggio technique, but you cannot compare his performance to this. Zoran's version is flowing, musical and interesting, not to mention artfully done. They're not in the same league.

honestly i think Chris' version was at least a bit better. although i dont typically judge by how "good" something is both were great chris just has amazing technique
Dear Necrotuber,Chris's technique isn't 'amazing'.It's the normal "mindless fingers only' approach that any normal guitarist gives when he sits in the bathroom and plays the same sequence mindlessly...over and over...
@ClassicalMusicReview I know this comment is two years old, but it's hard to focus on playing with your heart when you have to be technical and learn with your fingers first. You focus on getting it right, then you can play and add color to it (:
This is fantastic. This man plays with such passion. One of the best classical players I have ever heard, by far.

and i thought metal had crazy tempo changes,i was wrong :/

He's skilled but doesn't play it as written by Legnani. The tempo switches isn't in the score.

This is magnifique! The best Legnani interpretation on Youtube.

I can't believe there's people stupid enough to trash Broderick's technique, simply because they like another version better.
gnrcr 10 months ago
@gnrcr I like Broderick alot, I'm a huuuge Megadeth fan but he simply doesn't have the "guitar soul" to play Legnani like this man in this video.

Caprice must be played fast and without tempo changing. This vesion isnt good because there are too many needless feelings.

Dear Marvel,You're in the wrong profession.Try industrial Engineering or Power weight lifting. They don't challenge the 'musical-phobic'!

I must agree with classicalmusicreview....you have no Idea of what you are talking about!

MarvelOfGuitar It's also the worst rendition I've heard.
Abuse of the tempo to this degree is akin to being a passenger in a car driven by a drunk suddenly braking, suddenly accelerating.
This guitarist is trying too hard to be different for my liking.

Suckers one thing is to say Chris Broderick is better and other completely different is say I like more his version.
Is just a matter of tastes.

Finally someone who plays Legnani with a mind and lyrical heart guiding the fingers instead of otherwise.Bravo!
