I mean, harry knew sirius for about a year and Remus was best friends with him for about seven and then he thought sirius was a murderer for twelve and then found out he was innocent while feeling bad for believing peter was innocent and wishing he could make up for those twelve years. then Sirius dies and remus can still be strong enough to hold harry back and protect him.
