hey i have a cort g110, i know is not a good guitar, but i was just wondering if somehow i can pull the whammy bar up so to make that awesome sound, right now i can only pull it down, and it sounds great, but i was wondering if there's something i have to do so that it pulls up. i don't know if i'm explaining properly lol but i hope you get what i'm trying to say.
@therionluffy I'm not familiar with that model. You should bring it to a shop to see if it can be set up to "float," allowing you to pull up and dive.
hey i have an ibanez rg5ex1 and its great but when i whammy up to make the high pitch whammy it over tunes a bit and when i whammy down it either stays in tune or resets the overtuning is that normal?
That is common. A trick I've learned is to get in the habit of giving a quick dive to reset the bridge any time I pull up on the bar to raise the pitch. Other than that, you can have a professional guitar technician set it up, and get the tremolo bridge to stabilize. For now, though, just give it a quick dip after you do a climb.
I played that guitar before. Fucking awesome. :D
