I hated the gummy ship in 1 because of the scary bg effects when you got near this world.

Not nly that but the near infinite monster spawn in hollow bastion was FREAKING ANNOYING, those darkballs/defenders were overpowered.

But that's what made the game great! :3

@Nordzumu yeah!!! I though the hardest battle was fighting Riku IN hollobastion when he had the keyblade only because you had the watch the fucking cutscene over and over again like 10 times... that cutscene was like 7 minutes. Ahh the memories like 10 when this game came out.

@CoreyLongmire That got annoying real fast and then when KH2 was released they added the option to skip the cutscene. What I learned was that the way to beat the toughest bosses in the original KH was through training (randomly beating the shit out of naturally spawning heartless in the environment till you level up to the point you can finally beat that specific boss.)

@killswitch0078 Yes, personally I do like the 1st option better than the 2nd. Playing as Riku would be really cool in that Multiplayer, especially if Riku and Sora can still do their co-attack together. Ugh, forgot what it was called, but when you get Riku in KH II you can do this Limit move with him, it's real powerful.

Well, they still have to save Aqua, & hopefully be able to unfreeze Ventus and save Terra from Xehanort.

...Wouldn't it be cool if we had more complicated Reaction commands?

What made the atmosphere of Kingdom Hearts 1 so great was the sense of darkness and mystery. There was none of this nobody-mumojumbo, the story was straightforward and powerful. Just because a story's straightforward does not mean that it's bad, on the contrary it frequently makes it better. What KH needs is a return to a powerful, coherent story that retains the same sense of otherworldly-mystery as the first one.

@L0ckon I full heartedly agree. KH had such appeal when the story was simplistic yet so symbolic and meaningful; what's more deep-rooted than fighting darkness and believing in friendship? Though nobodies could have offered more of a grey area to explore, it was more like them trying to make the story more complex and ended up with a mess of plotholes they've tried to explain away, taking away a lot of the magic I fell in love with. Plus the Disney chars in KH2 felt slapped on.
