We can only build miniature versions of these structures. They require CNC milling using diamond tipped bits and saws. Some of these stones are between 1200 and 2000 tons, we don't have anything that can lift and transport something that heavy.
@cvunit then you have to consider the enormous size of the CNC mill and some means of transporting it. The stones in the video were transported about 1 mile to the building site. How do you move a 1200-2000 ton stone 1 mile? No truck can carry it, and it's impossible by any primitive means. Even if you could pull it short distance it would crush what ever you put under it if you manage to somehow lift it.
@cvunit Keep in mind that these stones do not appear to be hand carved, they are precise to the thousands of an inch. You put a feeler gauge between the stones. They use no mortar, it's just stone on top of stone. Everything is perfectly accurate on these structures beyond what modern building codes require. We also don't have the resources and the wealth to build these types of monumental structures. Modern buildings are made of small components like bricks and metal.

Technology and economics are key factors here. The society has to have its needs met to a high degree before it can construct these types of structures. @cvunit I'm not saying they were built by aliens, I'm saying they were built by a lost global civilization that was wiped out by a storm of comets (Younger Dryas Event) between 10,500-13,000 years ago before the ice receded. We can only build miniature versions of these structures. They require CNC milling using diamond tipped bits and saws. Some of these stones are between 1200 and 2000 tons, we don't have anything that can lift and transport something that heavy.

@cvunit then you have to consider the enormous size of the CNC mill and some means of transporting it. The stones in the video were transported about 1 mile to the building site. How do you move a 1200-2000 ton stone 1 mile? No truck can carry it, and it's impossible by any primitive means. Even if you could pull it short distance it would crush what ever you put under it if you manage to somehow lift it.

@cvunit Keep in mind that these stones do not appear to be hand carved, they are precise to the thousands of an inch. You put a feeler gauge between the stones. They use no mortar, it's just stone on top of stone. Everything is perfectly accurate on these structures beyond what modern building codes require. We also don't have the resources and the wealth to build these types of monumental structures. Modern buildings are made of small components like bricks and metal.

@cvunit In order for a society to reach the point where they can build something like this or the pyramids for example it would have to have reached a point where it mastered its natural resources to a greater degree than we have currently. Technology and economics are key factors here. The society has to have its needs met to a high degree before it can construct these types of structures. There's no country currently in the world that could build a pyramid right now or something similar.

@legbreaker So they had several agreements that the A.R.E. would fund searches there, for the tech equipment, etc. and this was done. A room, an opening the size of a room was found exactly where Cayce had said it would be found. Everyone at the A.R.E. was overjoyed and looked forward to finding what it was in the room. However, at that point Zawi Hawas and the Egyptian Antiquities Dept and the Egyptian govt cut off all tied with the A.R.E and refused to cooperate in further searches.

I think the fighting is not over the mound at all for the ordinary Jews and Muslims. In the Six Day War when the Jews won back the Temple Mount, Moshe Dayan the battle general immediately turned around and gave back the keys to the Temple Mount to the Arabs. I'm looking at the ruins of the CYCLOPEAN MASONRY of these original Phoenician temples and wondered why people couldn't tell the difference between these pre-Roman cyclopean masonry and the more smooth-cut Roman masonry?
My theory is this... the Romans refurbished these temples or add columns to them but they weren't the original builders of BAALBEK.

if a man can drag 80 kg, you would need 15,000 men to drag that 1200 ton stone. and you would probably have to add another 5,000 more men to compensate for the insane friction the stone makes with the uneven terrain, so 20,000 men. no rope in the world can be used on those stopes, the rope would simply just crack and pulled off in a second or two. the sharp edges on the stone is not suitable for any rope whatsoever. and more amazingly, they lifted this rock 35 feet in the air. totally impossible

These ancient temples were originally built by the "PHOENICIANS" of Lebanon thousands of years before the Romans conquered Lebanon.
It is believed the ruins of Temple complex of "BAALBEK" is carpon dated to the Neolithic period. would be nice to see, how big the ladder steps are and doors and heights of ceilings. this might hint the height of beings for who it was built.

The foundation stones are so large they can't even be lifted with today's cranes. Some people believe the biblical giants built these structures, i can't see man building them. The stones are just too damn big to be moved.

Yeah they can't even move these rocks today, the technology doesn't even exist yet. Nothing can move these rocks today, no cranes, airplanes, animals, nothing. That should say something about the incredulous theory that man 1000 years ago is somehow inferior to man today. That's an unbelievable insult to the people who built these structures, they were truly amazing.
It's not really a mind bender if you're a christian.... it makes sense.

these temples are roman temples ...not Greek.
Bacchus was the roman god of wine (equivalent to the Greek god Dionysus)
and Jupiter is the head of the roman Gods(god of the heavens ) he is also identified with the Greek god Zeus .

the lebanese being the pheonicians are the ones that build ships from cedar trees in which lebanon is known for and the bible speaks of have also sailed to many countries and one of them spain in which the pheonicians were the first to civilize spain adding to that the pheonicians also invented the first alpabets so we come from a very great minds and inventive ancestors.

This is the remains of the largest "PHOENICIAN TEMPLE COMPLEX" in (Baalbek, Lebanon).
Known to have built by the "PHOENICIANS" because they were the first architectural/masons of the ancient world.
There are few Roman addition to this sacred complex at Baalbek but the original builders were "PHOENICIANS."
"BAALBEK" considered "SACRED GROUND" in Lebanon.

Well you have temples of Jupiter, Bacchus and Venus and they're still in good condition. Quite a lot to take in.
The only thing that worries me is that Hezbollah trains near there.

I was there in 2003, and had the whole place to myself! Unfortunately, I only had a disposable camera with about 5 shots left on it! The memory though of its beauty is burned into me!

I would love to see this historical awesome architecture! Lebanese food is the BEST in the world, so it would be a dream to go to Lebanon and explore its culture.

It' said that the ancient Giborim built up the Temple. They were the sons of the Nephilim/Grigori spoken of in Genesis. The Book of Enoch speaks of the Sons of God (The Watchers) descending @ the base of Mount Hermon. This is situated not too far from Baalbeck.

how narrow minded of you, go and seek: The Old Testament, Talmud (Gmara), Mishna, Baraita, Oral Torah, and even the Deuterocanonical Books and Kabbalah (Zoahar, Book of Creation...) and ao on and on... have a nice research (though you are probably right about the Star of David)

The ancient superhuman elohim annanaki 'gods' made people worshim them because they were afraid. They were afraid of their huge numbers. They knew the people could gang up on them & destroy them. It was a fear-based political system. The 'god' of the old testament won out over all the others with numerous wars. He then said he was the one true God; he owned all the media; & people in churches today worship him though he is long-gone. This blood-and-war-monger god is why we still war today.

I remember seeing this in my dream as it was thousands of years ago when it was new. Baalbek had lush gardens,a warm humid tropical environment,large square pools filled with clean water,fountains, ferns,
polished marbles and statues;and all the buildings were beautiful. I remember seeing steam rising from the pools. This was a vacation resort for the gods. I also remember seeing transportation vehicles that flew in and out of Baalbek. There were grasslands and rolling countryside.now wasteland

It was guarded by beasts that are now extinct on this planet. It was the intended destination of Gilgamesh. He hoped to attain immortality there by eating from the tree of life like the gods did. There are tunnels underground that reach out to an ancient forest. A fascinating read.
