@PolanskyA I'm afraid it's a story about how Stalin was a good man and a genius... The movie is full of lies and cliches and that's sad because the actors and the action itself is great.
Yeah, Russian people were great and brave during that war, I know it, but I think another movie, more neutral would be a good idea, if you want to show what they did during that war.
The movie is not full of lies, about 90% of the movie can be atested from different sources, both Russian and Western, communist and burgueoise authors like A. Getty. The movie was one of the first to denounce the cooperation between the Vatican and the Nazi Germany, thru the cardinal Arsenigo, that's something that even the Pope Benedictus XVI admitted and apologized for last year.
It also shows Stalin making war plans, something confirmed by Zhukov at his Memoirs.
@Swordman85 The problem with this movie is that even when they say the truth, they show it the stupidest way they can. Of course, Stalin made war plans, he was the head of the State. So did Hitler. But compare both of them when they do it in this movie. On one hand, you have Stalin the genius and on the other hand, you have Hitler the hysterical jerk. Historical sources would show you that Hitler was a pleasant man in society. And he was not stupid as the movie trie to show.
@Swordman85 Besides, everything on this movie is totally biased. Every character is totally devoted to Stalin, no one ever question him. Everything is totally cliché and tries to make believe that Stalin was a good man. Denouncing Hitler ? That's pure hypocrisy, Stalin was a murderer too. He killed more people than Hitler.
This movie disguises the truth.
Come on, in the end, Stalin makes a speech about world peace at the airport ! Have you ever seen something so hypocritical ?
@XGV25 The most hypocritical thing is that in reality Stalin's biggest fear was to take the plane... So seeing him going in Berlin by plane is just... Lol :D
This is a sickening film and I can't even watch it all. The Russian army was an entire army of rapists.

Yes, that was his favourite entertainment when he had free time, several biographers atest that. You should follow the example. He also jogged.
