This inspired me with the idea of there could be a "world wide charity concert for leukemia" where you have differnet countries coordinate thru videos and have an audience in each of the home countries so they can see their home country perform in person and also watch various videos appear from other countries - you could have each band perform different times throughout concert; like UK at 6pm and US at 7pm; it may require some thinking out the "time zones" to coordinate it, but could work!
