What they should have done:

Lynn goes away from Jigsaw and attempts to escape by lock picking. She has a semi-fight with Amanda. She hits Amanda hard enough to escape her way back to Jigsaw's room, to end the fight. Amanda enters, looks at Lynn with hatred, but pretends nothing happened and says: "He made it past the third test." The rest would continue as in the film.

I thought the deleted scene showed more of Lynn. She knew that she had to escape and live her life correct, and not die.

To Ronvins: Yeah, but effectively she killed him because she dropped his key in the bath with him so it fell down the plughole instead of where Jigsaw told her to put it, so he couldn't free himself. So he never could have escaped unless he cut his foot off = death. Or broke it, like in Saw IV, but he didn't think of that x] Jigsaw didn't intend for his key to be apart from him.

What Jigsaw meant by being "dead on the inside" is that she didn't care about anything else but her job. But that's kind of a lame reason to put her in a trap, IMO. Originally Amanda supposed put her in the trap to get her revenge, but S4 changed that. Now we have no idea why she was put in the Angel Trap.

SAW V should show a flashback on Amanda in his apartment looking at that flyer and deciding to go and see him, have a drink and maybe show the two sleeping together back at his apartment set between this scene and the one before he gets back from taking shots of Dr Gordon! She'd have a better reason for killing him that way since she fell for a man whom she'd ultimatley murder out of regret.

The fat rapist is placed on a bed with traps aimed to impale his eyes if wants to live but fails to do it in time and his body is ripped apart.

Two teachers are impaled together but the woman's injuries are not fatal but the daughter beating dude's are, Rigg arrives at the school shortly after and discovers the woman managed to pull out the things resulting in the other guy's death, Rigg gives her a key to save herself before continuing on his quest to save Eric. Eric is killed when Rigg enters one second to early before the time runs out and as a result, Eric's head is crushed by ice. Watch the film for better detail lol

Anyway, Jigsaw chose Adam because Jigsaw is an asshole who picks on people who don't deserve it.
