  • Who is this hot mofo?

  • I'll be staying in Worland. & nope not with a resort or anything like that, I'll be working at the Farmers Market there and helping out a several summer camps through-out the summer.

  • I'll be staying in Worland. Working for a non profit agency, at some summer camps, and at the farmers market there in Worland.

  • Love your videos,

I'm staying in a small town in wyoming for the whole summer. It should be nice to get away from everything and be out there.

  • @jstanley36

Cool. What town are you staying in? Are you working at a resort or something?

  • I've spent a lot of time in Buffalo. Love it there. I appreciate your music selections in your videos and I LOVED the gathering storm one. Your take on life is a tad out of the ordinary, but I'm guessing that's just the way you want it. Keep it up - there is trouble afoot - and you are reassuring somehow in the midst of it.

  • i find your voice really very addictive to listen to.

  • Funny you said that. I just had that conversation with someone a couple of days ago. We have no idea how long weather cycles last.

Global warming? Another ice age seems more likely.

  • Yeah, one of my fellows with a degree in some enviromentalist thingy (I seriously don't remember what he had!) said that global freezing was much more likely in the long run. Not that I listened carefully or anything. But it was something about the streams in the oceans stopping and in effect dropping landmass temperatures. Or something.

  • Wow. It's beautiful!! In 30 minutes I get to drive to Burbank and sit in a room with a Protools rig for 8 hours. Wanna trade places? Please Tom. Just one week. PLEASE.

  • Why don't you just take a vacation and come visit? That way you won't get fired for providing an incompetent replacement.

You're welcome here anytime my friend. Got a 36' RV you could stay in. Think about it....... mmmmmmmmmm!

    Peace brother. Drive carefully.

  • Snow in June? Well, that's different. If you did happen to fancy a turkey dinner with all the trimmings or pumpkin pie to, go for it!

    Peace!

  • Capn!!!

    Snow in June?!?

    That just ain't right.

I don't think them maters are going to survive the chill, so it looks like peppers for dinner again tonight.

It's good to see you again brother.

  • Well Scotty........ they is peoples what says I ain't right either. So I guess I live in the perfect place.

It's all relative. I've got snow in June, you've got the Big Dig. It's always something.

Peace man. Good to hear from you.

  • I completely empathize! Funny video!

  • And here I was thinking upstate New York weather was wonky.

  • Good to see ya Capn. sorry about the weather. Good luck my friend.

  • yeah great to see you again capn

  • Wow, snow in June. It's that darn Global Warming again! Glad you're still around. Looking forward to seeing more videos in the future. Take care!

  • Thanks veritas, I'm glad I'm still around too. Always great to hear from you.

    Peace!

  • Good luck with that garden hahah...great to see you made another vid :)

  • Thanks, I'm going to need it. Take care.

  • Finally, a Real Man's video-Horses, Farming, and Weather. Good to see you back!

  • Hey dangle! How's it going?

My next video is going to be about beer, fishing and NASCAR!

    Whoot!

  • Hey Cap'n! Hope you enjoy the weather.

  • Well I certainly won't get bored by it...... it changes about every five minutes around here.

    Peace!

  • we had one frost since i planted, but i covered everything up and they all survived just fine. i was a fanatic, stapleing newspaper inside of plastic cups and frantically trying to get them in before sundown. : ) gardening is fun.

  • Hi Heather,

Yeah, gardening is the kind of fun that gives you gray hair sometimes. But so do my kids and I still love them too.

    Keep it green!

  • howdy from tucson

    nice spread,,,,snow too really

  • Place looks great. Cant wait to come back up and see you all.

  • Is that you Nephew?

  • Yep. Havent seen you in a while. Like the snow though. See if we cant drag my dad up there some day.

  • LOL.... that'll be the day. Tell your dad they have these things called "jackets" now. New invention I'm told.

I'd love to see you guys though, it has been a while. Tell my brother I'll have the Governor turn up the heat and put all the bears in the back yard. Heck, tell him there's even a good chance to have a Dick Cheney sighting.... that should get him up here.

Love you buddy. Hope to see you soon (but I'm not coming down there in summer that's for sure).

    Peace out JW!

    Tommy

  • Just great to hear from you, Capn. Thanks for the update. Snowing in June, what a hoot! Peace.

  • Great to hear from you to forestlight!

We have crazy weather here. High desert meets Rocky Mountains = rain, snow, lightning, hail, heat, drought, tornadoes, tsunamis. And that's all in one day!

    Peace my friend.

  • Great looking place you have. It has been low 70s and raining here in northern California. If this is global warming ill take it over the 100F weather we normally have this time of year.

  • LOL, just returned fro two weeks in Monterey and Santa Cruz. I can testify!

Good to hear from you. Thanks for watching.

    Peace!

  • These are among the youtube vids I prefer. I've never been in the USA but I always dream to go there and I like to have an idea of many states. It always puzzles me the fact that I see conifers in Wyoming pictures and then they tell me there's draught there. I live among the Alps and a lot of conifers but there's no draught at all. How comes there are all those trees with draught ?

  • I think the weather just comes in cycles and weather patterns change for various reasons.

I live where the high desert meets the mountains, so we have very unpredictable weather to begin with.

If you want to trade places for awhile, I'd love to visit the Italian Alps. ;o) Say hello to Ötzi for me.

    Peace.

  • Hey hey, nice ta hear from ya...good on the rain, but WoW on the snow,...in June!

the end of last month it was over 90degrees here in Oregon...I have some things planted but in pots N swimming pools...kicken it hillbilly style here :) I'll post a vid of them soon mabey ;)

  • By noon all the snow was melted. I should have made a time lapse of it.

By swimming pools do you mean the little plastic kiddie pools? That's a great idea for raised beds.

I have a bunch of rubbermaid bins that I use for that purpose too. They work great.

Looking forward to that video. Keep it green!

    Peace.

  • You should cover the plants with a tarp otherwise the cold might kill. I like the video.

  • The peppers weathered the snow just fine. The tomatoes, eeehhhhhhh, not so much.
