@PivotStorm nonono black mesa east in hl2 is just a resistance base consisting of labs and other stuff on the outskirts of city 17, they named it black mesa east although it is not part of the actual black mesa research facility.

Heh. You're probably right but you see, I uploaded this 2 years ago when it first came out so I never did see that 2nd background.

The real reason why I named it "2" was because I had upload the first one but it failed so I gave up and well...You're looking at an old video that well was uploaded by a simple minded guy.

For this video I used FRAPS. A PC program that records games. It needs a good PC to run it alongside a game. However I now record with Source Recorder, a recording command within Half Life and then use FRAPS to record the footage from that.

Oh by the way people, you may have noticed this video is called Background '2' well I tried to upload no. 1 back when EP1 came out but Youtube refused to accept it.

Anyway now the video is long gone...It was basically the Citadel with the circular cloud and lots of lightning and falling debree.
