Ok, I made these cookies, yesterday and they came out too hard...So, I'm gonna remake them for less time in the oven...But as for the ones I made yesterday...All is not lost, I'm gonna break them up into fine crumbs melt some dipping chocolate and make crunchy candy mounds. This will taste good over ice cream or eaten out of the freezer.
Thanks for sharing this recipe! We like to add a few drops of yellow food coloring to the cookie dough and also brush the cookies with an egg wash before baking. :)
You should seriously invest in a good stand mixer...it would help you greatly in baking and mixing doughs....just thought you should consider it. :D Great Vids by the way, Kudos to you!
@AsianCookingmadeEasy Good Girl...They make cooking in general a whole other world of easy. I don't go in for kitchen gadgets alot, but I must admit that a food processor and a standmixer are a MUST in the kitchen!
Thank you sooo much, your instructions are very thorough and easy to follow, I love your phrases too, don't change it they are part of who you are. Thanks again
The recipe says to Cook them for 1 hour, them remove and let them cool for 20 minutes. It seems like a VERY LONG TIME FOR COOKIES considering most almond cookies cook in 6 minutes.
Also can you post the recipes? So we dont have to type them while we watch the video.
These do take a bit longer than usual, but I've always made them this way and they come out rich - almost like shortbread :) I do have this recipe posted on my bellaonline site. I try to post most of the recipes on this channel at bellaonline(dot)com(slash)site(slash)chinesefood.

Have you ever tried making these with butter or at least half butter? I think butter gives it a much richer flavor.
