  • @1prettysoul Thank you - I really appreciate it! :)

  • Wouldn't using an egg help the dough stick together?

  • can i dont use allpurpose flour and use whole grain flour?

  • @TheGApro The texture will be a little different, but you can use this as well :)

  • Ok, I made these cookies, yesterday and they came out too hard...So, I'm gonna remake them for less time in the oven...But as for the ones I made yesterday...All is not lost, I'm gonna break them up into fine crumbs melt some dipping chocolate and make crunchy candy mounds. This will taste good over ice cream or eaten out of the freezer.

  • @ValyTraveler Chinese Almond Cookies are supposed to be really hard. Haha, but making crunchy candy mounds sounds delicious!

  • Thank goodness for easy recipes...

  • @ValyTraveler Thank you :)

  • Thanks for sharing this recipe! We like to add a few drops of yellow food coloring to the cookie dough and also brush the cookies with an egg wash before baking. :)

  • @1cherrylane Thank you so much for watching :)

  • Have you ever tried making these with butter or at least half butter? I think butter gives it a much richer flavor.

  • those look sooooooo good, amazing vid by the way:)

  • "This tea tastes like almonds"

    "Must be the almond cookies"

  • Thank you, you are great!

  • You should seriously invest in a good stand mixer...it would help you greatly in baking and mixing doughs....just thought you should consider it. :D Great Vids by the way, Kudos to you!

  • @SouthernGospelGreats I did get one after I had made this video and I Love it! :)

  • @AsianCookingmadeEasy Good Girl...They make cooking in general a whole other world of easy. I don't go in for kitchen gadgets alot, but I must admit that a food processor and a standmixer are a MUST in the kitchen!

  • Yes, that is definately a long time to cook cookies.

  • That is an AWESOME kitchen.

  • Thank you sooo much, your instructions are very thorough and easy to follow, I love your phrases too, don't change it they are part of who you are. Thanks again

  • made it for the first time, my kids loves them. Please make more videos. I been on all your videos. thanks :-)

  • Lila,

The recipe says to Cook them for 1 hour, them remove and let them cool for 20 minutes. It seems like a VERY LONG TIME FOR COOKIES considering most almond cookies cook in 6 minutes.

Also can you post the recipes? So we dont have to type them while we watch the video.

I LOVE YOUR ACCENT, CHANGE NOTHING

  • These do take a bit longer than usual, but I've always made them this way and they come out rich - almost like shortbread :) I do have this recipe posted on my bellaonline site. I try to post most of the recipes on this channel at bellaonline(dot)com(slash)site(slash)chinesefood.

  • I got a wok for Christmas, so I'll be a faithful subscriber this year. Keep up the good work. I need ya!

  • "just like that" i hear this in every videos.. hehe

  • Oh I know - I never realized how many phrases I repeat and how child like I sounded until I taped myself! But I'm trying to fix that :)

  • THAAAAANNNKKK YOOOUUU!!

  • Thanks a lot!
