It's natural for someone to have an attraction to certain features, such as eye color, hair color, skin color, etc. It's not really anything-ist. It's just part of natural physical attraction.

@gamesandstuffs it's not really a small mind we are taught at a young age it is bad to be racist (depending on family of course) so we assume that saying well I am white and I really like other white people is racist or saying I like Asians can be seen that way as well, what we have to remember is, is the meaning of racist hate towards another person for being different than ourselves. He just found out the difference is that having a "type" does not mean you are racist it is just a preference.

Having a personal preference is simply part of being human. I'm physically attracted to people with fair skin, dark hair, and light colored eyes (both male and female). This doesn't mean that I wouldn't be attracted to someone with light hair and dark eyes, but the probability is a bit low. In the end, (for me) looks only matter up to a certain point. If you're my preference but I think you're dumb/a dick, you have no redeeming qualities. Your looks won't help you at all.

I really dont get why being attracted to people with red hair is considered "strange" and why it has to be a confession? Its like gingers belong to some race that is out of the norm. Ive dated blondes black brown and red haired guys a person is a person is a person. The only thing I can say is in my experience the two redheads I dated were hotheaded border ine nutcases and great in bed....the usual stereotype for gingers lol. i dont think at all that its a big deal to have a preference of race, i mean you are attracted to what you are attracted to. its not racist, you're just attracted to certain things. i prefer white people over others and its not that big of a deal it doesn't mean im racist. its pretty much the same as saying you prefer apples over oranges, seriously. it might be racist if i said i didnt like asians and thot they were gross, but im not:P so ppl shouldnt get butthurt:P

Having a personal preference is simply part of being human. I'm physically attracted to people with fair skin, dark hair, and light colored eyes (both male and female). This doesn't mean that I wouldn't be attracted to someone with light hair and dark eyes, but the probability is a bit low. In the end, (for me) looks only matter up to a certain point. If you're my preference but I think you're dumb/a dick, you have no redeeming qualities. Your looks won't help you at all.

Being physically attracted to a certain group of people isn't racist. I'm not attracted to asian people (not that they are ugly or anything just don't give me that feeling ya' know) but I wouldn't reject them as a friend or as a romantic relationship when I got to know them as a person. My bf likes redheads and I dyed my hair that color (had been for years, not for him) and now I'm my natural blond. And, guess what, he still loves me because that is not a defining factor in our relationship.
