It is still hard for me to believe that you can incapacitate this monster with the Deku Nuts. It is amazing. I watched 1000 Ways to Die. Perhaps, one of the pieces got stuck in his leg. It was plausible that some of the pices got stuck there. It is very easy to bleed out through the leg if you do not stop it immediately. The Master Sword plunged into the brain is not very helpful for this monster either.
