Thank you for this video WFG! I actually shopped around and decided to buy the big ol' 18 bushel version (which looks to be what you have there). This is to pre-compost materials for my worms, and also to have it as it is when it gets done making compost, so I have a couple of different soil amendments for my gardens. Thanks again!
my neighbors had to move and they gave me their tumbler. I love it. so easy to fill and turn. My back is not strong so I found doing the compost on the ground painful and arduous. Thanks for your video.
I got one a couple of years ago for "dirt" cheap and I love it. I like the idea of putting the newsprint in there to take the moisture out. I will keep using it for as long as it lasts. Like the idea when it gets holes to rivet sheet metal on it and decorate. You would be a great neighbor. Later.....
A second compost bin with the compost tumbler is 100% a must. Mine is full of black soldier fly larvae and they devour anything thrown in within 24 hours. They are much more efficient that regular worms and take heat and rain better. When it is full, I mix the finished compost from the second bin with screened horse manure @ 50/50 and load it in the tumbler. It heats up and is done it three weeks. I can make more compost than I can use and I have 1.5 acres. Every garden should have 2 composters
@subcoolfl Have you seen the biopod plus. it actually harvests the black soldier fly larvae in your compost to feed to chickens... super quick bioconversion of food waste into insect protein. great for backyard chickens

Thanks for the Video. I just purchased the Tumbler 2 and began filling it with scraps and shredded paper. I'm glad to see that it really does work.
